    I would highly recommend this restaurant. My husband and I travel world wide and this is one of the best Italian restaurants we have dined at. Their Tutto Pesce Alla Grigila was the best! I have never had such tender and delicious calamari. In addition the shrimp and mussels were so fresh and cooked to perfection. The evoo balsamic glaze topped it off wonderfully. It’s a must to order. My husband ordered the veal piccata and it was delicious. Our server was Galia. She was delightful, answered all our questions and made great recommendations. She was very attentive and quite a gem. We will definitely be dining here the next time we are in the Chicago area.

    I have been bringing my nieces here for the last 12 years and we always receive warm and friendly service from Gerri and Sonia. All of the sweets and savories are freshly prepared on-site and are delicious. The service is on real china and silver, and there is an assortment of tea hats to choose from. The ambiance is lovely with classical music playing softly in the background, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Long Grove which is known for its quaint shops and covered bridge. We always look forward to High Tea with Gerri!
