I miss their 20 dollar entree and champagne deal, but menu isn’t bad and the food was still tasty. Great service also. More

Greek | Astoria, Queens

My wife and I have been dining there for some 30 years and knew it when it was less than 1/2 the size. The ambiance is great and we are treated like family. Fresh, fresh fish and great Greek dishes, all of great quality. To us it's worth the 45 minute - 1 hour drive and crossing 2 bridges. I look forward to their new venue in Portchester NY - it will be 1/2 hour and only 1 bridge . . . and I'm sure more than worth it. More

My husband and I have been to Spanglish a few times now and it's always been a great experience. This past week, my family was celebrating my sister's birthday and we decided to bring our toddler with us. I made reservations in advance and chose to go earlier than usual just because dining with a toddler could be quite challenging. When we got there, they had already set up a table for us with a booster seat which I thought was so thoughtful. Our waiter, Jonathan, was super sweet and patient with us. We were celebrating my sister's birthday and even though we didn't order dessert, Jonathan brought over a flan with a candle. Those kinds of thoughtful gestures go a long way. The food is amazing, the drinks are delicious and the service is top notch... my family and I will definitely be coming back. More

We've been there many times before and as before, MO of FH didn't disappoint. My problem with eating there is my eyes. I.e., my eyes lead me into temptation and as a 9-yr. old Weight Watcher who's lost and kept off ca. 30 lbs. since my retirement in 2010, I am led toward excess by the sheer attractiveness of the place and what it has to offer. For ex., there's the golden hue of their brew selection. I'm not a beer drinker as such, but I can't resist a Radler before and during the main course. Then there's the Schnitzlers. Pick any one and you can't go wrong. Huh! I usually slough desert (going on 80 next birthday!), but the Apfel Strudel a la mode was to die for! To sum up, I had to walk the 0.75 miles home across QB to insure I would be able to sleep the evening we were there. P.s. The rest of the family waved as they drove past me up Yellowstone Blvd. to the comfort of our rooftop apt. YY. I wish all who read this a similarly cheerful and satisfying trip to this stellar neighborhood bar and restaurant. More

SingleCut Beersmiths was founded by Queens/NYC born, music-obsessed brewer Rich Buceta, whose life-long passions led to a place where hops and vinyl could shine side by side. After years of homebrewing and professional stints around NYC, Rich was true to his dream, diving headfirst into the brewing world. “My obsession is creating original hop-driven beer; distinguished by a firm respect and admiration for West Coast pioneers, and bending that to our East Coast / NYC interpretation.” Since opening in 2012, and with the help of an equally talented and devoted team, SingleCut has gained a loyal following throughout the East-Coast’s most respected markets. With his steadfast determination for the perfect pint, Rich penned "Mastery Knows No Shortcut" as the SingleCut mission statement. “It boils down to always demanding greatness, never compromising, and always play it at maximum volume.”More
