This is one of our favorite places to eat. The food is excellent and Claire always takes very good care of us.

Our family chose this restaurant over another because it was listed as $$... but when we saw the menu, I was hoping the cost was because they were share-able portions. Nope. The pastas & pizza were good. We had 6 of us and we each got something different & were pleased with the flavors created by the chef. The service was lovely... but few & far between. We ultimately didn't get our food until an hour after being seated. Overall, food was good. Ambience was great. Staff was friendly, but could've done better with timely service & more accurately labeled cost category.

It’s was a hot day, I understand but no AC. Inside was hot and noisy. I ordered a pasta, no salt no taste no nothing! Very disappointing because all the reviews were good! I won’t come back for sure.

We do have air conditioning, though the extreme heat and our three doorways made it challenging to keep the dining room comfortable during the heat wave. Parking wa fairly easy on a busy Saturday in the village. Wanted to love it.. but it was just okay. Food was okay.. nothing special. Staff was very friendly but the service was just so slow. Food, drinks, and check-ins took a lot of time.

Service was great! We ordered the calamari, the toss salad, alfredo and hot honey pepperoni pizza. Everything was great just wasnt a fan of the pizza flavor.

Great food, good service it's a nice place for family dinner. Except.. I don't understand why they let dogs into the restaurant. You're trying to eat a nice dinner and there's a dog scratching and licking itself then sniffing your leg

So VERY disappointed. We have made Gregorios our go-to Italian place every time we are in Carlsbad for over a decade. This time was awful. A really BAD band was playing too loudly on the patio - conversation was impossible. The food was sub-par. I had braised rib Pappardelle. The pasta was gooey, undercooked, & too thick with barely any sauce. My husband had Scallop Risotto. The scallops that were almost raw and the risotto was clumpy and inedible. My Chopped Wedge salad was not a wedge salad - it was a Caesar salad with blue cheese on it. Whos uses Romaine instead of Iceberg for a wedge salad? I have never had a bad experience at Gregorios before - but this time was so awful - the food was disgusting. Not a very good $220 dinner for two. There are dozens of restaurants in Carlsbad to choose from - lots of competition. Get your act together Gregorios!!!

Hi Cheryl, We were very disappointed to read this. We never want a longtime guest to leave feeling this way. Unfortunately, none of these concerns were brought to our attention during your visit. Your server remembered your table, including your positive comment about the twist in your cocktail, and thought everything was going well. Had we known you were unhappy, we would have gladly replaced your dinners and/or moved you both to a quieter table. The heart of Gregorio’s has not changed. We’re fortunate to have a dedicated kitchen and service team whose experience with us spans multiple decades. We take your feedback seriously and only wish we’d had the opportunity to address these concerns while you were here. We hope one disappointing evening won’t define Gregorio’s for you.
