H Street Country Club
Our server was really awesome and enthusiastic but the food was horrible. Myself and three other friends went for Cinco De Mayo brunch and not one person at the table liked their food. Not only that, but the manager and another lady came up to our table and 2 of us expressed our displeasure with the meal. We thought they would take it off our bills entirely but no, we ended up paying full price for brunch. We got a few rounds of shots which they comped one or two i believe so maybe that was their way of rectifying the situation. The ambiance is cool, they have arcade games you can play and the bottomless margaritas to go with brunch are well made and a nice variation from the norm. I would come here again to hang out, I would just eat somewhere else first.
Very cute place. Was fun for our kids. Mini gold needs some TLC but overall great experience. Huge portion sizes!
We were “greeted” by a hostess who never said “good afternoon”, just “ID”. First impressions usually last and even after I said good afternoon, she just looked at me. Food was okay. Eggs were cold and toast was only toasted on one side. Drinks were watered down. I’m not a heavy drinker and for me to say that, it was! Mimosa my daughter has was 98% orange juice and my margarita maybe had .5% tequila. There was a band playing which was cool. Games are old. Mini golf was open but it was freezing upstairs. Will not be returning or recommending
Arrived on time for my reservation and was seated right away. The server was super attentive and the food and drinks were delicious.
Our waitress was great! The wings we got were way too spicy - we had one wing and the spice hurt and made you want to cry spicy - and she was kind enough to swap the wings out for us so that we could enjoy them. She was so nice about it!
The waiter was mia. He never checked on our food or offer refills. In fact when we got our check, he gave us the wrong part to sign so I don’t even know if we paid for our meal.
Wanted a quick bite before a show at Atlas. Fit the bill perfectly.
It was a friendly atmosphere and the service was great
Didn’t know what to expect but was rather surprised. If you’re looking for a meal and entertainment this is a great spot. Had a great crowd for 930 on a Saturday night.
We had a great time. Service was excellent. Golf a wonderful addition!
This is a great spot to chill with a few friends. The games are awesome and cheap to play. My friends and I had a little basketball competition going on and since it was crappy weather we basically had the game to ourselves! Oh and happy hour drink deals are super cheap for DC. $3 beers and $5 maragritas?!? U cant beat it. Definitely will be back. Oh and I heard there's golf upstairs. Will make sure to hit that up next time.
Great place to have fun, food is just ok.
Amazing place for a Happy Hour. The games were fun, and the staff was INCREDIBLE :)
This was our first time at H Street. We selected it because we wanted to do a fun activity for date night and still have a good meal. We played mini golf, skeeball, and basketball. All of the machines were functioning properly and there was a bar tender available on each level. The food was amazing and the server was great as well. We will definitely be back.
Fun bar aspect is fun. The food was subpar. The server was nice but did not come check on us.
Why take reservations if the restaurant will be closed that day? No one even called to notify me
This place manages to balance good food, good drinks, and games. There is a basketball game and skew ball. It’s best to bring cash but they also have a machine for that. Good for groups and kids. Tuesday is all day happy hour!!
A nice place to take a first date. The décor was unique and a bit funky - fits right in on H street. The service and food were both good (Mexican). The drinks were strong. They have some games to entertain, including skee ball and a nice 9 hole miniature golf course. Also has a nice roof top bar.
We had a fun night watching basketball, playing shuffleboard and drinking!
Our family travelled from Upper Montgomery County to eat here because of the 9 hole putt putt course we played inside post meal along with the skee ball machines. Very fun to have a meal & something to do in one destination/location.
I was very disappointed in the service, food and drinks. They had one server for all the tables and I had a party of a total of 20. My guess would love to waiting for food and drinks for far too long. Then were told that I needed to go order from the bar when they had already ordered from the waitress and thought their food and drinks are on the way.
There were children running around......at a bar....
Never received drinks we ordered. The appetizers came with the meals, had to flag down waitress for everything. I’m normally tolerant of this when it’s busy but with only 3 tables full it was hard to understand. The food we did receive was wonderful. If I go back I’ll eat at the bar.
It's really a funky n bar - but don't come here to eat
Great location and great view! Unfortunately we talked for too long to try out the mini golf before it closed, but loved our experience. Fish tacos were well done, not too spicey, not too sweet. Only negative, no draft beer on the roof! But the bartenders more than make up for it with great margarita options, and bottles/cans. Definitely worth trying!
The Mexican food was very good. We came here for the miniature golf. We've been to a place in San Francisco called Urban pot that had this fantastic indoor miniature golf. This was not like that. This was extremely lame and it was way overpriced. So we played shuffleboard instead which was fun to do. The miniature golf really needs an upgrade.
Brunch food was decent, plantains were excellent! Service has some room for improvement.
I was so embarrassed to have brought a friend here.
Late lunch and mini golf with our young dayhhter
Good space for a new team get together. Games etc
Would not recommend this place for dinner and especially not a large group. Service seemed unorganized and slightly inattentive. The rooftop and games are fun though.
We had so too much fun. The food is ok but the drinks are strong! The miniature golf gets tougher the more you drink which makes it even more enjoyable
Great for groups wanting to have a happy hour on H Street. Go to the rooftop for the bar and get tacos. Tacos were good, drinks were just average.
Maybe because it was cinco de mayo the drinks were watered down and the brisket was dry.
We used to go hear often but this was our last time. We had to pay a $15 cake cutting fee just to bring in 6 cupcakes. I had no idea about the fee and the manager would not waive it. The food is usually good but was different this time. There only seemed to be one waitress working and she seemed overwhelmed and/or flighty. Sometimes they have certain drinks and sometimes they dont. We will have to find a new hang out spot.
Service very slow. The food the was suppose to be mexican, they don't know about Mexican Cusine
Fun place with multiple games including ski ball and indoor putt putt. Food was mediocre but the decor was super unique. Good prices!
Great place to hang casually with friends & kids (I suggest daytime/early evenings & weekends). They have games & mini-golf!
Terrible service. Very loud. Bad bartender got second drink and completely different than the first. No chairs with backs (doesn't work for my back problems), all stools and ottomans. Chairs with backs and full tables upstairs but weren't serving food up there. Reservation didn't matter and we barely got a table (was last one and kept telling us we should be grateful we got it). Messed up bill. Too many hoops to jump through for the games, not enough tables, crammed and really loud. Not for dinner place just drinks and games type place.
This place is good for drinking or games, but their service for food is terrible. We had a table of 10 for brunch and had made the reservation 6 weeks in advance. It took them almost an hour to take our order, those who got bottomless mimosas rarely got refills, and one person in our group never got their food -- even after asking multiple times. Their wait staff seemed way overextended.
