We needed a quiet table with good food and service. Harrigans was right on the mark with all these points. Highly recommend.
Waiter was great and very friendly. Scallops were very good, Steak was so so.
The staff here is so nice and friendly. We enjoyed talking with everyone there. The food is really good quality. Everyone in our group was very happy with their meal. The breakfast sandwich is a must try!
Vincent and the staff are amazing. Bobby was our waiter and he brought it! I highly recommend joining them for dinner we friends, family, or that special someone.
We loved the atmosphere....wonderful singer and piano player
Everything was great. The food and service were terrific. The Wine was Exceptional
Well worth the wait. Was seated exactly at 6:00 pm, waited 10 minutes. Wait staff was attentive and able to do whatever was required. Was a up for Johnstown since there is really not much around. The menu was a little small not to much to choose from but I am thinks it because of covid. The spring menu was a little give away that many be they change up as the seasons go.
Good food, good service, great overall experience. We were seated upon arrival on time with our reservation. Our server promptly greeted us and took very good care of us throughout our meal. Very nice dining experience.
The food was sub par and although it was advertised as a brunch, there was no breakfast food served. Music was a tad too loud. The service was good, however I don’t believe the food or buffet style warrant the high price for the event.
The staff was exceptionally helpful with a member of our party who has a disability - they helped out at the buffet each time and asked us all if there was anything we needed.
Waited 15 mins for drinks when we got to our table.
Sent back a Caesar salad that had so much dressing on it the lettuce was mush. Chicken on top was gray and rubbery.
Waitress had to be flagged down every time and never checked on our table on her own.
Waitress was to split the check, did not split the check and when we asked her to, she screwed it up and put drinks on the wrong tab.
Overall it was a disaster and I would never go back. I am by no means picky but this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had going out.
Both our entrees were perfect. Service ("Nicolle") was attentive, engaging, while being professional and not intrusive. Wine by the glass selection was extensive. Good value.
We came to Harrigan's once before and it was pretty good. This time however, it wasn't the best. We ordered lamb chops, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I don't know how they cooked them, but they were NOT good to say the least. Also, we asked for them to be medium, they were cut in half when they were brought to our table and it was obvious that they were very very rare. Our waitress dropped them off and pretty much ran away. We waited a few minutes and it was obvious she wasn't coming back, so we picked up the plates and walked them to the entrance of the kitchen ourselves. She didn't come back to check on us for a good 10 minutes more. Overall this experience was less than adequate.
This is the same review that I put on Google.
We had dinner at Harrigan’s for my father’s birthday on April 17th. The food was pretty good but not great. Three of us ordered a daily special of filet mignon which was supposed to be a six ounce portion, but was definitely smaller and more like four ounces. The waitress was attentive but the service was very slow due to short staffing. It took well over an hour to get our food. I also had ordered an Old Fashioned, which is a very common classic cocktail. What I received was not an Old Fashioned. It was a rye whiskey on the rocks with part of an orange in it. No bitters, no orange peel, no sugar cube or simple syrup. I’m guessing they did not have a regular bar tender working, which is fine but they should have told us that. Overall, it was a decent experience and the food was pretty good.
My wife and I decided to go to Harrigans on Ssturday evening. We were seated promply and server came right away to get our drinks. They have an abbreviated menu but there were many options yo choose from. We got a shrimp coctail and the shrimp were huge. Main course came shortly thereafter and it was done to perfection. We look forward to the daily buffet starting again.
Gave a four for food, because we were told there would be a Thanksgiving buffet. When we arrived at 4:30 we were told it was being taken down and not available. That is why we came.
I wanted to go for a rare meal out and I wanted a great experience with food and service to match.. couldn't be more pleased. Everything was fantastic!
We had a great bottle of wine. The wine list is very good. The mushroom soup was excellent. The pork chop was very good.
Great place to relax - Service was excellent and food was very good
Great waitress and food was phenomenal
Average. Slow service for being one of two couples there. Appetizers were feh. I don’t think they know what Hummus really is...main course was good.
This was our first time to go out to dinner since the COVOID out break. We were very happy with our experience and felt very safe with the precaution they have in place!
Overall entrees were quite good (veal chop and scallops). Cold bar seafood was not great-shrimp and mussels were overcooked. Good wine list but a bit over priced.
Everyone who worked there was very kind, so that was not an issue. We waited 20 minutes for a table (granted it was Valentine’s Day) but then proceeded to wait an hour for our entree. Luckily it came with the cold bar so we had little picky things to hold us over. Once our steaks came, I was incredibly disappointed at the taste. It was so blah, no flavor whatsoever. Boyfriend and I decided to take them home to season ourselves after a few bites. Not sure I would come back here considering I was underwhelmed with a $75 meal.
Strip steaks are absolutely marvelous the French mushroom soup spectacular. Spaghetti wonderful marvelous dinner salads
Lamb chop special was delicious !
They often have a piano player or small band that is enjoyable
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and our server, Megan, went above and beyond to make our evening special.
The food selection was excellent but I like my food hot and the eggplant parmesan was lukewarm and my pasta was the same way.I took the psta back and the cook put it back in the pan to try to heat it. Disappointing!
We went to visit our daughter and her husband near Johnstown PA. I chose this restaurant because of it's location. When we got there, we were happy to see that there was plenty of free parking available, even though it's located in the Holiday Inn in downtown Johnstown. We had made a note on our OpenTable reservation that my daughter has a physical handicap and we wished to have a secluded table where she would feel more comfortable. They seated us in a very cozy corner, next to the windows where we had a lovely view of the city. The menu was pricier than I expected, but everything we ordered was served hot and delicious. Each of us enjoyed our various entrees. Our server, Chloe, could not have been nicer. She went above and beyond for us, and made our meal extremely pleasant and comfortable. We would definitely dine in Harrigan's the next time we're in Johnstown.
Lynn was an EXCELLENT waitress. We had limited time and she helped keep us on schedule!
Killer food and very attentive service. Great drink and wine selection. Definitely pricey for the area but the food is worth it. Great seasonal specials and the scallops were amazing! If this restaurant was not in Johnstown it would be packed every night. Hopefully this town gets it together so this place will thrive for years to come
The wine was escepcial! My family and I enjoyed a quiet lunch, and although we wished we ordered from the mouth watering dinner menu, the food was light which allowed us to enjoy the wine! Will be back to have one of those funnel cakes!
The roast pork and beef tenderloin were particularly delicious. We enjoy the variety of salads and cold plates.
Great Mother’s Day spread. Higher quality food than what we expected for a brunch buffet. A little noisy and desserts seemed a little mass produced, but overall food quality was great! Service was even better!!
Have been attending Mother’s Day Brunch for 20 years. It has become our family tradition. Roslyn the hostess goes above and beyond to make our experience outstanding.
Chloe was Our server and she did a great job
Plenty of food cooked properly waitress served very well seating was very close to reservation time even with the large amount of customers
Holiday buffets at Harrigan's are always special. We especially enjoy the amazing appetizer selection and this year the lamb from the carving station was one of our favorite entrees. Thank you to the chef for another delicious meal.
Perfect location for Easter Sunday lunch. We are extremely busy and unfortunately often do not have time to prepare holiday dinners. With most of our family out of town this year we were looking for a Holiday meal together for just my husband and me. Everything was excellent. The food variety and quality were outstanding as well as the service. I also appreciated the special touches with the Easter decor. We will absolutely keep Harrigan's in mind for future dining.
