I've never posted a review, but this place is top notch and I had to share. We went for dinner one night and went back for lunch the next day, that was how great it was. Everything we had was amazing, from the appetizers, drinks, dinner, lunch and desserts. We tried 4 desserts, all great! Staff was wonderful, attentive and very covid friendly. Tables are spaced out appropriately and we felt extremely comfortable eating indoors. We will return on our next trip to Hershey area for sure!
We greatly enjoyed our dining experience at Harvest. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Price is in the $$$ range. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The staff and servers were super friendly and knowledgeable.
Family get together. Food was overall average. MY husband and I spilt the fish and chips and it was not so good. My brother and sister in law spilt the salmon and liked it but it was a very tiny piece of fish for the price point.
Harvest at The Hotel Hershey is a beautifully rustic restaurant on the north side of the hotel near the outdoor pool venue. In spite of COVID-19 restrictions, the restaurant provided a nice variety of menu options and tables were spaced far enough apart to meet guidelines, but not too far as to feel isolated from fellow patrons. The prices were reflective of the quality of the food and the serving staff was courteous and friendly.
The food and wine pairings at the Michael David Winery dinner were superb! Wonderful experience!!
Food was EXCELLENT... especially the scallops and brussel sprouts! Everything was very fresh.
Excellent first time, will come back again.
The beef chili and New England Lobster Roll sandwich were both very good. My husband always loves this sandwich. I had a very nice side salad. However, I was disappointed in the Burger on the menu. It was not up to typical hotel standards/quality. The burger itself had no taste and was dry. Even though I ordered medium-well, there was a hot pink center so that was not the cause of the dryness. The toppings were good although the bacon was also too well done. We will be back to Harvest but I'll definitely not be ordering the burger again. Disappointing since we typically have very good meals. The Ooey Gooey Cookie Pie was awesome, as always.
Nice friendly staff with a quiet dining experience. Delicious food
I loved the greeter, server and waitress. All very friendly. Made sure to wish me a happy birthday, which truly added that extra touch. Good food, even better service. Thank you for helping me celebrate my special day!!!
The ambience and amenities were very nice and clean. The service was impeccable as I was expecting being at the Hotel Hershey. The food was very good and well prepared. The presentation alone was great, however the filet was cooked perfectly at a medium-rare and was so juicy. Definitely would recommend, and we will be returning.
Very nice lunch. We were seated at a table overlooking the beautiful view of the snow covered park like area behind the hotel service was excellent and our meal was spectacular
The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Harvest took every precaution when assisting customers during COVID. Staff wore masks and gloves, and tables were spread out. We will definitely be returning.
Overall, the experience was excellent. The only minor quibble I had was that my filet had some gristle in it, and I am not accustomed to that, especially at a fine restaurant. The crab cakes were beyond reproach, and the service was exquisite. We will definitely be back.
We were very disappointed in our recent meal at Harvest. My spouse had the short ribs which were fine but nothing special. They didn't come with a side so she ordered the honey roasted veggies for an additional $8.
They seemed more boiled than roasted and were flavorless, definitely nothing to suggest they were honey roasted. I ordered the bbq ribs which admittedly was an unusual choice for this restaurant but i was drawn to the cocoa rub description which i thought would be distinctive at the Hotel Hershey. They were flavorless and tough. They seemed like they were re-heated with store bought bbq sauce globbed on. The $14 drinks were boring and unimaginative. We had planned to get dessert but didnt bother. The whole feel from decor to service to food and drinks felt dated with no sense of effort. We had a delightful dinner the night before at The Circular and would highly recommend it to anyone staying at the hotel. Maybe it was just a bad night at Harvest but we could have had the exact same meal at a chain restaurant for half the price.
We went to Harvest on Valentine's eve. As usual everything was wonderful. Lovely setting at Hotel Hershey. We always enjoy walking around the hotel and grounds after eating. Food is always superb 👌. Service always above and beyond! It's like you traveled hundreds of miles away to a resort, but it is right here in our backyard. Highly recommend for romantic meal or treat for friends.
The food was delicious and they were very accomodating of our special needs son.
We enjoyed our Valentine's dinner tremendously; the staff was very attentive - especially our waitress. The food was excellent; we will definitely visit again.
We have been to harvest a handful of times. Last year in February (precovid) I ordered the cod fish and chips. It was the best fish I’d ever had! We chose to take a chance going out for my birthday because I remembered how wonderful that fish was. (We have not eaten out or done take out since covid started. This was a very big deal for us!) the fish was ok at best, I’m sorry to say. I think the oil it was fried in was old. It was dark, and greasy. The table next to us ordered the fish as well and theirs was the same. The cole slaw was over powered by onions. I picked mine out and there was a pile of onions on my plate. I was very disappointed in the meal. I was really looking forward to that fish dinner. It was not worth risking our health for.
My experience was satisfactory. I visited the restaurant for Valentines day and the food was good and it was quiet. I would go there again in a similar situation.
The buildings were great and we loved the location up on the hill. The selections were limited so what I ate was not what I really wanted. The same for my wife.
We love the Harvest and eat here every time we visit PA.
Overall just a very good restaurant at an incredible resort
Drove from Brooklyn just to go for lunch, everything was amazing.
Everything we had was delicious, the view is lovely, and ask the wait staff were very friendly and attentive. We can't wait to go back
Being a New Yorker, I find the food in Pennsylvania overall to not be what I'm used to back home. However, the Harvest consistently has great food. Even my 18 month old, who is very picky, ate well here. It's a cozy environment, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and our meals were delicious. My son loved the macaroni and cheese which is made in-house (not boxed), and I enjoyed my chicken dish. My parents and husband all said their cheeseburgers were very flavorful and cooked as they specified. We eat at the Harvest each time we stay at the Hotel Hershey, and it is always a great experience.
Excellent food and great service by Kaitlin. Very nice relaxing mid-afternoon meal.
The scallops were excellent. Server was very kind and attentive
The host that sat us wasn't very personal. He seemed annoyed. The server we had was great! Our food however wasn't that good. Our food was cold when it was served to us but our server was understanding and took it back to have it warmed up or remade for us. I also ordered a wedge salad which was awful. The lettuce was so hard I couldn't eat it. My husband agreed after trying it. After our appetizers, soup and salad we decided not to order entrées because of how unsatisfied we were with everything else. We paid our bill, left a handsome tip for our wonderful server and went to the other restaurant tier 5 where we ha an excellent dinner.
Excellent shrimp appetizer
Crab cakes loaded with lump crab
Oyster appetizer large and good
Cole slaw with apple tasty
Dinner was wonderful, dessert was even better and service was great. Always are great visit.
Harvest was amazing. Yes, it was during COVID, but once we were seated we almost forgot that were we in a pandemic. Our waitress made wonderful suggestions and everything was amazing. Grilled shrimp appetizer wrapped in roasted carrots, Hershey's Cocoa Ribs, Crab Cakes and Roasted Broccoli were to die for!
Thank you for choosing to dine with us and for the kind review. We are thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed your meal and the service and hospitality Skye provided. I am excited to share this wonderful feedback with our team. We look forward to your next visit.
The she crab soup was amazing, as was the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection at medium rare. The price was more expensive then I would’ve expected but this is a resort hotel so I guess that explains the price. Of note, this is not the same Harvest restaurant that you see elsewhere. This is a separate restaurant altogether. I discovered this when I tried to present a Harvest gift card. Still an excellent meal and I definitely would go back.
Thank you for your recent visit and very kind review. I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed your dining experience at Harvest. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.
We just were not a fan of the food. My wife had the fish and myself the short ribs. Neither ended up being very good. The staff was awesome which helped some. Unfortunately we enjoyed our less than $30 lunch at the Bears Den over the $111 dinner at the Harvest.
We’ve been to Hersey every year maybe some twice a year, and we never go home without going to Harvest! It’s exceptional!
Appetizers and meals were delicious. Sweet potato pirogies, fried oysters, chipotle honey chicken sandwich, and lobster roll sandwich were all excellent. I got the chocolate dipped milkshake dessert to go. The milkshake and cheesecake were ok but I was disappointed for a dessert from a Hershey Hotel establishment. Chocolate covered strawberry was very good. Definitely recommend the appetizers and sandwiches!!
It was wonderful great service delicious food everything was wonderful!
Excellent food in a warm atmosphere located on the grounds of Hotel Hershey
Worst meal of my life
