    Eeesh. Definitely overpriced. The staff were professional and the meal was nice, but for the extortionate price l think things needed to be memorable and original, and they weren’t at all. I didn’t really feel special or surprised during the whole evening and regret spending such a lot of money on something I won’t be able to remember in a few weeks’ time. If I had paid half the price, I think I’d be raving about it but instead I regret my decision to go there.

    This was our second visit to the Hawksmoor and we are already looking forward to the next one , the steaks where top class cooked just how we had asked them to be our waiter was first class the service was excellent. I would highly recommend coming here for any steak lover that has not yet been .

    Food was great as always but it took almost 3 hours to complete a 3 course meal, which was more than any of the table expected. There was delay taking orders and clearing tables and for the dessert. Again cannot fault the food & the acknowledgement of the birthday on our table was very much appreciated.

    The service from the moment you walk through the door is fantastic, food is top notch and the setting is beautiful. One slight issue with our order was corrected immediately with a minimum fuss. I would highly recommend Hawksmoor.

    I have to say I only live 20 minutes drive from Hawksmoor Manchester and it was well worth the visit… the staff were very knowledgeable about the menus & drinks. I would definitely visit again

    Having visited Gaucho in Leeds and had an amazing meal we decided to try Hawksmoor a little closer to home for a special occasion and I have to say was disappointed in the food. Could not fault the service and attention to detail, celebratory drinks, 3 of each item in the starters as wed said we were sharing with our 11 year old daughter. The actual steaks we personally found not as tasty as Gaucho. I had the Steak Diane and my daughter had a 12oz fillet and both were a little chewy. It didn't stop her finishing everything off and saying it was the best steak she'd ever had! Found everything a little too salty as well but that may just me our taste. Great staff, great ambience, lovely rustic building. Toilets a bit of a trek and rabbit warren to get to. Food just let the experience down on this occasion.

    A special treat, Hawksmoor is really something. The decor creates a low lit ambience which is very cool. We had a fabulous corner seat so we could see everyone. And the atmosphere was lively. Staff were friendly & professional, service quick and food delicious. 10/10. Thank you

    Everything was perfect. Took my husband for his birthday and our waitress Caris was so friendly and professional. She couldn’t do enough to make him feel comfortable and cater for his food intolerances. All the staff was super friendly. The food was DELICIOUS. Can’t wait to come back.

    I am somewhat of a critic when it comes to dining out……so I’ll start with; Absolutely Fabulous! I’ve eaten in many places and there can sometimes be expectations that are not quite met….not this time. Hawksmoor Manchester is a little gem in the city; service, food quality and a customer first approach. This place should run a Customer Experience Academy! With its immersive and luxury surroundings, old world elegance and relaxed ambiance. If you think this review is a bit ‘out there’ you should go and see for yourself!

    Had such a lovely meal, staff were incredibly lovely, and steak was beautifully cooked; however I feel Hawksmoor do not cater for people with allergies or I intolerances. I stated at booking that it was my boyfriends birthday, and he had a lactose allergy. On being seated, we were asked about allergies and stated this again. Sadly, all sauces and gravies contain milk or butter and no alternatives are offered. It would be nice to have an option for those with allergies.

    The staff were amazing , was my 5 year anniversary celebration meal and the staff gave us some drinks for free after our meal which was as a very kind gesture and much appreciated. The food was 1000/10 absolutely amazing, the ribeye was gorgeous and my partners fillet was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend and have done :)

    The waitress mixed up our steak cooking preferences. My wife asked for medium well but got medium, I asked for medium and got well done. We didn’t like to say anything as it causes embarrassment and ruins the whole day, but the waitress saw my wife left most of hers. She did take ine steak off the bill and gave us a card to speak to somebody next time, but that’s embarrassing too! It still cost £112 for a ruined meal. The waitress seemed lost at times, not her fault!

    Food and service was amazing, a little pricey but that was expected, maybe it would be possible to offer a slightly lower price house wine as £37 for the cheapest red was a little steep in my opinion. Overall an amazing evening.

    Super service and excellent food. Had ash backed beetroot and tail filet from the express menu as going to the theatre. One minor constructive comment is that the horseradish with the beetroot starter was a tad too strong but did not detract from the lovely experience of the evening. Others may think the strength was perfect. We willl definitely return.
