Fantastic brunch with the family. We were seated right away, service was extremely attentive and the food was beyond delicious. You know it’s a great experience when everyone left feeling full and satisfied, and couldn’t stop raving about it. Added bonus for me - I’m a vegetarian and there were tons of options for me to choose from, and a lot of items I could make vegetarian simply by ordering them without the meat. Love that they are so accommodating here!
Great time, great food. Waiter was nice and didn’t rush us out.
I’ve been to In Riva many times and the food and service is always consistently good
The food never fails to impress. Please bring back the branzino!!!
Great pizza very noisy. Heaters on the patio would be great
Food is AMAZING! Always something cool to look at and the outdoor dinning is beautiful! Highly recommend this spot!
Food and drinks were excellent! Service was friendly. Music was a little loud outside, however we were directly under speaker. Will definitely return!
There was 5 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. Our server was so wonderful!
In Riva was a great choice for our small team dinner. We did the 5 course meal and it was fantastic! We were STUFFED by the end - it was so much food! Their pizza dough is one of the best that I've tasted in a while and the pasta was also amazing! Fresh ingredients, attention to detail (flavor town!), and a little love from the chef made for some very happy customers. Everything was so delicious and they set a great pace so we could enjoy all the plates without feeling rushed. We will definitely be back!
Love this place! Their handmade pastas are amazing.
This place is Philly's hidden gem. Best pizza and handmade pasta in the city. Charred octopus is to die for.
Always quality, fresh, thoughtfully seasoned and creative Italian food. One of the better restaurants anywhere in Philly.
Always a great experience coming to In Riva.
Bottomless margaritas are amazing. Pizza, pastas, pea soup—awesome!!
Fabulous arugula salad, great wine selections, great pizzas, small plates of yummy food...service a 10!
Great menu and excellent service.
Absolutely love this place! The service is always great, great setting, and reasonable prices. However, I've been a little disappointed with the pizzas I've ordered the last few times that I've gone. For example way too truffley truffle pizza that didn't taste like anything else and could be smelled three tables over, or the "speck" on the pizza today that should probably be served diced and not in strips because it's impossible to rip with your teeth. I've always loved the insalate, antipasti, vasi, pasta, and brunch options. I just need to be a little more inquisitive when ordering outside of the usual pizza suspects.
Great place excellent food super value
We all had a great time!! Loved the atmosphere and the food!! Will be back!
Excellent cliche tapas - all good
Everything was great. Server seemed nervous or new but did a fair job. We sat outside which left us privy to motorcycle noise. Other than that, great.
Ohh and they had a drink that was my last name!!!
Great service, excellent food. Shared 3 enteees, appetizer and a pizza. Signature drinks were delicious.
One of my favorite neighborhood go to spots, the food and service is always amazing
Thanks for another fabulous dinner!!!
Arugula salad, prosciutto appetizer & both chicken marsala & pasta dish were terrific accompanied by a great bottle of Italian valpolicella!! Thanks to Steve for the extra yummy
chick peas....soooo good!!!
Great service & wonderful atmosphere dining outside!
We had a great time and enjoyed trying a variety of appetizers, pastas and pizzas. All were delicious!!
The arugula salad is the BEST!!!
PLEASE bring back the bronzino....it’s fabulous & needs to be on the menu permanently.
I have been dining at In Riva for a few years and the experience is always delightful. Always a friendly, easy going, attentive staff and a delicious food menu that never disappoints.
We enjoyed all the plates that came out..salad, pastas, appys and pizza. Pleased with the atmosphere and waiter although our waitress left a bit to be desired. Perhaps just a bit young/inexperienced. I'd go back for sure!
Excellent food, great outdoor eating and great drinks! Pasta portions a bit small. We get two as apps for a pizza dinner (4 people) Love it there.!
Food is wonderful, different an lots of flavor. Great location on the water.
Dogs allowed in the patio. Went on a Saturday night and a little noisy but great to
see all kinds and ages of people. And dogs!
This was a great restaurant. very noisy but fun.
Great food, especially the ribs in pomegranate sauce and the broccolini salad!
Great pizza and pasta.
Would definitely go back and recommend to others.
The pizza was outstanding. The appetizers were interesting choices and delicious. Definitely going back to try the pasta and small plates!
Wonderful dining experience at In Riva yet again! Our server August was wonderful - very careful, personable, and prompt. Amazing pizza.
Went with my partner for a brunch date. As soon as we get in the decor didn’t match what we usually see for an Italian food place, and we were excited for the afternoon. It had a “manayunk” contemporary young vibe to it, lots of bikes parked out front from the Kelly Drive crowd I assume stopping by for a bite.
I had booked on open table but my boyfriend got seated while I was still in the bathroom so the host seated him and she didn’t ask him about an open table reservation since they weren’t crowded at all. Upon looking at the menu we were enticed and excited at what we would try. Our waitress came quickly and dropped off water and told us about the bottomless drinks and left to tell the hostess about my reservation as I explained Open Table will block me from making reservations or charge at times for missing one if she doesn’t “check me in”....She was then gone for 15 minutes before asking for our drink order, which was quite irritating. We saw other servers come and go several times at their tables before our waitress made her way back around. Usually that tells me the rest of the restaurant experience will be terrible as well but when she came back she said she was handling a situation, and we put in our drink orders & appetizers. I guess this is more of a service problem than our server directly, but we got our food before we even got our first order of drinks, which is disappointing as well, especially when it’s supposed to be bottomless from 12-3, and the time is already 2pm.
What I can tell you was fantastic was the food. We got the broccolini salad & spicy chicken parmigiana. Right after ordering I was a little disappointed to have chosen the chicken parmigiana because it’s one of the more basic Italian items but their version was anything but... the chicken was deep fried, served on the bone, and absolutely delicious. I was disappointed to find after finishing that open table emailed a NOSHOW because she hadn’t in fact “checked me in” like she stated.
Always a home run!!
Arugula salad & bronzino are just wonderful ~ spicy chic parm so tender & yummy!!
One of my all time favorites!! 💕
The BEST pizza around! Also the fried artichokes are always a fave!
Delicious food served family style. Excellent knowledgeable server. We will be back!
Excellent dinner, courteous staff, and the cocktails were spot on.
Neat location across from the river and on the patio. Service was great. Flavors of the food were not real appealing to my palate. Sauce of the shrimp calabrese was disappointing. The chicken brodo was way too salty and I generally add salt to food. The gelato was delicious. The entree options seemed very limited. Maybe I would’ve liked other dishes. Additionally, the music was too loud at times to be able to hear conversations.
