   Great selection of pub style food, with great portion sizes, including a large ribeye steak. Pizzas and sandwiches were terrific, and service was very good. Our server Trevor was top rate!

   Petty basic menu, I thought there would be more pasta dishes. But the food was good, the service was very friendly and attentive. Cool place, good prices for the food and drink. I would definitely come back if I am in town.

   Wonderfully relaxed dinner of delicious food, ice cold beverages, and superbly attentive service. Never been disappointed at Jimmy V’s and this time was no exception. A mainstay when dining in Downtown Raleigh!!

   We stopped during a road trip as the restaurant was next to our hotel. It was right after the New Year and so was very quiet. I expect the noise level would be higher during a regular business night. Service was attentive. Food came quickly. The meatballs were amazing!

    Very over priced for what it is. Caesar salad was 50% wilted lettuce. Came with a pile of lettuce, Parmesan and then two sauce sides of Caesar dressing. Not even made. Pizza was fine, just really over priced.

    Stay away from the chicken marsala. It's a crusty piece of chicken with some chunky kind of mushroom mess. It is unattractive and not particularly tasty. The roasted chicken ravioli was the best meal of the 4 ordered. The other 2 were the pizza and ribeye, they were good but not great. Based on taste the price was high.

    My party of 5 were all disappointed with Jimmy V's. My chicken was borderline undercooked. I was scared to eat it. My husband's steak was undercooked as well. The pizza is mediocre at best. We waited 45 minutes for our food and the bar/restaurant wasn't busy at all. The table next to us was 4 guys who were loud and obnoxious so that was annoying. I realize that's no fault of the restaurant, but it can get quite loud. Our server was friendly and attentive, but other than that I can't find a reason to return.

    I had good memories from this place from more than 8 years ago but I was very disappointed this time… food was cold and not well prepared. And not cheap. Service was horrible. Not professional at all.

    The Thanksgiving Day Brunch was cold and overpriced. The service and setting was great. The food just wasn't what I expected at all. The vegetables were cold and the rest of the food lukewarm.

    Salmon was wonderfully seasoned and cooked perfectly. Chicken marsala was also tasty. The crab dip was a great share. My guest and I were pleased with our service.

    Celebrating 36th wedding anniversary Hostess ignored us as we approached her. Bad attitude to greet customers - train her or find replacement. Waitress was good, but was handling too many tables- management needs more waitresses. Drinks took a long time - only one bartender. Food was average. Got home and hours later got very sick. Will not be back

    Basically a bar food menu, busy and loud. I requested a great table for an important business meeting but we got sat at the door way in high traffic area with a roof leak. Needless to say Jimmy V’s is NOT recommended and they will not have me as a diner.

    This was our first time here. After reading the reviews of others, I wasn't sure if I wanted to try it out, but I know some people just like to complain about every little thing, so I went ahead and made a reservation. First was parking, downtown Raleigh can be a pain when it comes to parking, but we got there a 5 and found a spot right out front YES!!!!! We went in side and were seated immediately. The place is listed as an Italian restaurant but has a sports bar vibe to it. Lot's of photos of Jimmy V around. Once seated, our waiter was quick with our water and took our drink order. This gave us time to look over the menu, its small, only 1 page, but has a variety of options with salads, sandwiches, pizzas, steak, chicken and pasta. We shared a Caesar salad, then my wife had the shrimp scampi and I had the chicken marsala. My wife said the shrimp scampi didn't have a lot of flavor, but was ok. The chicken marsala on the other hand and a ton of flavor. The garlic mashed potato's were very creamy. The marsala sauce was a little thin, more like a soup, but it still tasted good. And like normal, we were too full to have any dessert. If you looking for a casual place to eat, with good service, give Jimmy V's Osteria bar a try .

    Ordered crab dip and 2 drinks, 30 min later he came out and said Sadi you want to order something different crap dip is delayed another 30 min. Strange, we sat and waited, first time there only 4 people there at lunch, don’t understand what the wait was for 1 thing
