   Would love to see this space opened back up for dinner. It was a great southern restaurant. Brunch is good, but pricey. No longer validated parking on the weekends which will be the factor in us choosing to come back.

   BRING BACK THE SUNDAY BREAKFAST BRUNCH! So disappointed the brunch isn’t a thing anymore- I was so excited and booked our table weeks in advance for our trip remembering how good the brunch was from a previous visit to Nashville. Please bring it back. The biscuits are absolutely amazing. The sourdough pancakes were very good. I got the prime rib Benedict and it was ok- it was very salty.

   Restaurant is within the Omni where we’re staying so very convenient. Service was excellent, our waiter was very pleasant and efficient. Due to COVID the biscuit bar is not open instead the biscuits are served to you - they were warm and delicious. The food was very good - waffle, yogurt parfait, fresh fruit, and oatmeal. The dried fruit is placed on top of the oatmeal so if you rather choose which fruit you would eat it’s best to ask for it on the side. Restaurant is very clean.

   Pre-pandemic Kitchen Notes was one of my favorite places – which is saying a lot from a local. The atmosphere and the service remain quite lovely and peaceful and a world away from the usual Nashville noise. Unfortunately the food was a bit off yesterday. Grateful there are still GF biscuits, sad there is no buffet and perplexed by the less than stellar food prep for the money. My guest found her avocado toast to be rather lacking with an odd aroma. I found my sausage a bit flavorless and undercooked, despite asking that it be well done. The potatoes were whole roasted potatoes which is a bit odd at breakfast. However, my friend and I still had a wonderful time, in part because our waiter was terrific – helpful, accommodating and not intrusive! Just some of the sparkle of the previous breakfast menu (if no buffet bring back the breakfast biscuits with eggs, etc.) has been lost. I hope you'll be able to restore your unique vibe sooner than later.

   I met a friend and her daughter, who are both from out-of-town, for breakfast at Kitchen Notes. The hostess was lovely and our waiter was fine. The food was shockingly terrible. We all ordered the country Benedict. The eggs were hard boiled, not poached, little to no hollandaise sauce, and the potatoes looked like dog turds. I have never been this harsh in rating a restaurant but expected so much more from a restaurant at the Omni. So glad my friend had better culinary experiences while in town.

   My wife and I went into Kitchen Notes for breakfast and everything was great!! I ordered the sourdough pancakes which are the big pancakes and my wife had an omelette which she could not finish. We also ordered the Nashville chicken as everyone has raves about it and it was delicious. The service was great and would definitely go back!!!

    Not worth the price. Poor bust service. Had to wait 10 minutes for a decent table to be busted. Food was good but not worth the price. Desserts were not good.

    Our server was Keith. We waited at the table for over 15 minutes before he came by. We never received water or biscuits. I informed him today was my friend's birthday. He never acknowledged it at all. When I ordered the pancakes. He told me it was too many for me and to get the side order. We order coffee and a carafe of mimosas with our food order. He brought use two very small juices that the creamer is used for. He never visited our table except to bring us the ticket. However, I will say it appeared he gave good service to everyone but us. They received coffee in to-go cups to take with them, biscuits repeatedly and refills. This was the WORST service I have ever seen at Kitchen Notes. It was my friend's 50th birthday and I choose Kitchen Notes because the pancakes are wonderful and the service I've received from Gary and others has always been exceptional. Today, I was embarrassed for choosing to celebrate her birthday at a place with such bad service.

    Location is convenient if you are staying at the Omni or nearby & it’s nice that you can make a reservation. We were seated right on time. Food was marginal at best - not anything special for the price. The service was not great. Server was not informative or helpful & didn’t really seem to want to be there. Took a long time to get drinks, biscuits, refills, etc. With other options around or Door Dash, I probably wouldn’t eat here again for breakfast.

    Disappointed in the limited menu. Missed the buffet from the past. Breakfast Potatoes were a huge disappointment. Whole potatoes pan fried. Just doesn’t make the cut. Nothing special. Not worth the cost and parking with valet is $38!

    Food is hot when served and very good for the most part. Apparently the Chef feels the client should be part of the prep.team when it comes to breakfast potatoes. So, if you are not a male rugby player you may want to ask for an 8 inch chef knife with the breakfast so you can cut the potatoes down to an edible size for proper plating. The food is great just have a laziness factor with the potatoes

    Great food well prepared and served hot. The biscuits are just outstanding. The offerings on the menu are very good and sour dough pancakes our extraordinary. You cannot go wrong with this place for breakfast.

    We were seated and waited 10 minutes for service, we had to ask someone for our waiter. She took our order, my wife doesn’t eat pork so we told the waitress while ordering after which she proceeded to bring her a biscuit with Bacon in it. It took another 40 minutes to get our food, the food came out, the pancakes were three different sizes with one being the size of something for a baby. My eggs were cold to a point were I could just pick up the shredded cheese. Overall very bad experience.

    I stayed at the Omni for a week and dined at Kitchen Notes thrice. The biscuits are the ultimate hit; other food is pretty good as well. Liked the hot shrimp appetizer. But the best part was meeting Keith, the ever-cheerful server, who was an absolute pleasure to meet. Sorry to have not met him during our last visit - was really hoping to meet him.

    I went to brunch at Kitchen Notes pre-pandemic and was very impressed so I made another brunch reservation. I was disappointed they no longer had the brunch buffet, but understand the reason. However the food served was not nearly as good, and the options were limited.

    We miss the brunch buffet. When the website said brunch on Saturdays and Sunday’s I thought it meant the buffet was open. Called the restaurant and they never answered; called the hotel and they dropped the call and was never put through…why does it say weekend brunch when the menu is the same regardless? We used to visit kitchen notes for the amazing brunch buffet, and now it’s a limited menu with very little options. Basically, the only main-meal option is an $18 omelette or $30 prime rib on biscuits. It was delicious, the prime rib, and it was big enough to share if you wanted to, but I was disappointed in the limited options and lacking a curated menu. This is not a place to visit anymore, it is just a place for Omni guests to continue paying high prices for convenience. Additionally, I asked for some extra biscuits (that are complimentary before food comes out) and was charged more money. I also rated the overall experience lower because the two of us shared a big table with another family, German bierhaus style. Id always been at a table in the past but sharing a booth felt more intimate to share. Then I was slapped with a $25 parking fee; we’ve driven to the restaurant 3 or 4 times over the past years and don’t remember paying $25 for a valet to only have breakfast…I could be wrong. The only reason I’d come back is if they brought back the original buffet.

    We came to the Omni for a corporate event & had a mixed experience at Kitchen Notes. It was extremely busy so we had made breakfast reservations which was good bc pretty sure if you didn’t have them, after 8:45am you wouldn’t have gotten in. Service: they were sorely understaffed for the amount of tables they had - which was pretty much every table full. We had Keith 2 of the 3 days & he was super nice & personable but he was definitely spread too thin. We waited a lot for the complimentary biscuits & general service. We didn’t get drink refills. But again, they had way too many tables for the number of servers they had. Food: the grits & biscuits are AMAZING. And we’re from the south so we know both of those things. I asked for crispy bacon & over medium eggs all 3 days. Nothing fancy. The bacon never came out crispy (even after Keith kindly tried to get it right). The eggs were fried well - no runny yolk at all. So definitely some issues with standard cooking terms in the kitchen. Value: we knew it was a hotel restaurant therefore knew it was going to be expensive. But we had a Hotel credit from our event so we chose to use it for breakfast. With tip it was about $55-60 for 2 people. Had we not had the credit, we would have gone elsewhere after the first day. So overall not a horrible experience but not a place I would go back to unless I just wanted grits & biscuits. But thanks to our server Keith who was super sweet & tried to make things right when the kitchen didn’t do their job. He made the whole experience tolerable.

    Nashville natives. Been going to KN since it opened. First time back after Covid. Very different . No more buffet for Sunday brunch biggest disappointment was no validation for valet parking. Paying $25 to valet is outrageous
