The food was delicious, the wait staff outstanding. I specified when I made the online reservation that it was my wife's birthday but there was no acknowledgement of this at the restaurant.
I highly recommend reserving a table any day of the week. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety of tastes.
The service and cleanliness was impeccable - I was extremely impressed! A "southern hospitality" feel.
The noise level was low, you could hold a conversation, and yet the vibe was still casual.

The tables were placed perfectly-and the large room was amazingly comfortable with the cold weather outside.
Our server was very ill experienced, I ordered a beer flight and he told me directly that he didn't know what that was ( even though its posted on the menu?).
He did not seem to know the menu at all and proceeded to come back to the table a few minutes after we paid to collect his tip, while we were still at the table.
Food was alright a little pricey. All in all would most likely not gunna be my recommendation for dinning on the island.
The meal was great and the service was awesome. James was extremely helpful and courteous.
We've been here several times and love it a lot. However, this time the NY strip was not of its normal high quality, which was disappointment for a Valentine's Day dinner. Otherwise, food was great, including petit filet and peanut butter pie! Also, the server we had seemed afraid of us and/or people in general. It was awkward! In any case, we will def return!

Our favorite restaurant. It consistently has gotten better all year. The best mussels in Maryland by far. Also love the ambience here, a table by the fire is amazing in winter and outside in the fall/summer. The best staff and hotel and a highlight of our trip each time.

Monday is locals night. Food is always great, especially the crab cakes. When you get them on special they taste extra good! Celebrating my wife's birthday and she loved it.

We were seated in the tasting room for the first time, very comfortable with a great view of the outdoor fireplace & beautifully lighted trees after sunset. The fall flatbread has been a favorite for several years & we added oysters Rockefeller - both delish. My husband's venison entree special was perfectly cooked, served in a richly flavored sauce. I had the Tavern pot pie, a comfort-food combination of beef & vegetables with a generous portion of potatoes & gruyere. Highly recommend this dish on a cold night. We've not had a 'bad' server experience yet & Theresa took very good care of us Sat. night. We'll be back next month!

My husband and I took our niece for dinner before her return to college. We happened to go on "local's night" for their special two course dinner. My niece was thrilled with her surf and turf special, claiming the filet was cooked to her preferred medium rare and was delicious. My go-to crabcake was superb as always. My husband opted for the pot pie, which was steaming hot and he claimed it was worth getting again, but very filling! Our server, although unfortunately, I can't remember his name, was young and very attentive, without being overly so. Because of this pandemic, the place wasn't crowded, but there were a few regulars there. All in all, worth the trip out.

We were seated early in the ballroom with lots of space, beautiful room with a fireplace and massive Christmas tree. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was very good. It was a really nice setting for a late holiday celebration with family.

Great service and impeccable farm to table food. Our server was pleasant and professional any very efficient. The decor was beautiful and the ambiance inviting. The porcini crusted version tenderloin was rich and tender enough to cut with a butter knife. The New York strip was cooked to perfection and rich in flavor. The entire staff is amazing.
