I made a reservation online for 10:45pm. I called the restaurant to make sure they were still taking reservations, I was told we will see you soon. When my friend and I arrived, we were told that the restaurant was closing in 10 min. They had to seat us because I showed a copy of my call log that showed the time I spoke with the restaurant. I was told by the lady at the front desk that was the call center that got the call. They rushed us to our seat, we had to order in 2 minutes. No napkins, a dirty wine glass and a bad experience overall. I am here visiting and will not recommend this to others who may visit the area.
I visited with a group of 5. We ordered chicken and shrimp stir fry. I had no shrimp and little chicken. The same was true of my friends. The server worked quick to remedy the situation and gave us drinks on the house. I will return, I just hope it will be better portions next time.
Th service was terrible but the assistant manager was amazing. Tiesha James was very attentive and responsive to our concerns and needs. Her waitstaff however should follow her professionalism and customer centered care.
Great food, and drink specials. Late night happy hours are at an amazing value.

We booked a table for outdoor seating. It wasn't actually outdoors. The area we were seated in was a patio-esque area enclosed by large windows with a roof that looked like rafters covered by a removable cover. So, perhaps when the weather is more amenable, this space is truly outdoors. But, I think it was unfair of them to advertise the area as outdoors when, truly, it was not.
There was a DJ, not wearing a mask, in this area with tables spaced apart, but the flow of traffic was pretty constant and there was very little time when I felt truly social-distanced here. The staff, aside from the DJ, were diligent about their masks, but the patrons (for the most part) were not. The service was excellent. The noise level was quite high and constant, which made conversation nearly impossible.
The food was fantastic! I can't really praise the food highly enough. We ordered the yellowtail jalapeno yuzu appetizer and were blown away. We ordered two regular sushi rolls (spicy yellowtail and spicy crunchy tuna) and one fancy roll (Yamada). They were all 100% delicious, although the Yamada wasn't perfectly rolled.
The sake menu was pretty extensive and we ordered both house sake (warm) and asian pear sake (chilled). They were lovely and expertly served.
Overall, I would definitely return. The quality of food and service ourweighed the detriments. However, I would absolutely try to go on a quieter night.
We cam for a happy hour our first time we love the drink s and def the food my husband talks about it all day since we left from the restaurant. Great customer service. It was overall wonderful

This was my first time at Kona Grill, the food was GREAT! Best sushi I’ve ever eaten! The server was great, very friendly and the manager checked on us from time to time.

The waiter forgot about us in his own word. But at least he was honest. He said he would give us a free drink next visit but didn't take off anything this visit. I was very disappointed in his service.

Great food and great value. Went in for dinner and drinks on Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised by the Happy Hour menu. Kona sliders are a MUST here
We enjoyed dinner during the covid pandemic indoors on a Saturday evening. There was live DJ music outdoors which was somewhat loud but not interfering with the meal indoors. We were somewhat deceived by pricing on the menu as we had to scan a QR code which defaulted to the lunch menu pricing, and one of our dishes (Macadamia Nut Chicken) was actually about $5 more on the dinner menu which we found out when we received the check. Our waitress pointed out the mistake from the e-menu but this was somewhat disappointing when we had set a budget. Otherwise, delicious food and would come back.
Just not a great experience at all. Hostess was not focused on greeting us. Table was uneven and when ice melted my wife’s water glass slid off the table and broke by her feet. No one ever apologized or addressed it. The Tuna was red and Gray which ruined my appetite. The waiter was the best thing about the visit. Will not be back
Food was not good at all. They changed up the menu and the chicken satay was under cooked. The steak was tough and tasted really bland. The pork fried rice had pork sausage and pineapples in it and was just a really weird combination.
The server was nice but really busy she seemed new or was filling in for someone else. We made a reservation for 9:45 on a Sunday and they called to inform us that they closed at 10:00 and asked if we wanted an earlier reservation which was ok but I just felt like they just really wanted us to come earlier so that the employees wouldn’t have to stay later than 10 but I guess I can understand. I will not be eating there again

I haven't been to Kona Grill since the pandemic. The atmosphere was live, friendly, welcoming, energetic, and good vibes as usual. Staff was courteous, patient and professional. I made reservation again for the very next day and kona did great with social distancing seating. Please bring back turkey burgers at downtown Baltimore location
The food was past the point of being cold. 10 minutes later after being heated up it was all but dried out and over cooked .
Basically since I’ve been going there it’s gotten worse and worse .

Quick service and decent ambiance.
We made a 10:30 reservation at Kona Grill. When we arrived the server brought water then it took quite a while for us to have someone to come back at take the rest of out drink and food order. Our server was very friendly but service was a bit slow and the overall quality of the food and drinks was very poor
- I ordered a mojito and got a mule
- The calamari was extremely overcooked and unseasoned
- The Old Fashion and the Mojito were pretty good
- We ordered 2 steaks(medium) that took an hour to come out and they came out medium well and well done. We sent the steaks back and they both came out unseasoned and still overcooked
- The manager came by and asked if our food came out better and we told him that it did not he said that he would let the chef know and walked away without seeing if there was any way to resolve our issue. After our server came to bring us our check we asked for the manager to come back over he remained very unhelpful and it was well after midnight so we left hungry without our food being fixed.
Salmon was excellent. Drinks were excellent. Calamari was highly disappointing (too lightly cooked and not very well seasoned). Service was excellent. Outdoor patio was great (would've been excellent without the flies).
Covid dining lots of menu options. Usual sushi and roll options but taste was spot on. Nice wine menu and cocktails too
I don’t have any complaints at all. Service was swift, and food was good. I wish they would’ve done something to acknowledge my daughter’s birthday (she had on a birthday crown and sash), but since I didn’t request it I certainly can’t hold it against them.
The dining experience was great and the menu items for restaurant week was top notch

Great setup for covid dining outside, we had lunch. The music was pretty loud, I asked them to turn it down, they did so right away. Enjoyable place.
