    It took a while to find our server when we needed soy sauce and water refills. I also ordered a red wine and was given white. I do love this place and the food, will probably stick to sitting in the bar area from now on!

    The atmosphere was great! Our server Elizabeth was outstanding! We had the ribeye meatballs for an appetizer and they were delicious! The ribeye and salmon entrees were awesome as well. We will definitely be back!!

    Cost of food is extremely overpriced. The lettuce wraps we ordered was not what was expected, the menu description was not very in-depth either. The chicken/shrimp was not pieces with the asian flavor we expected. Rather, it was all a mish-mash of tiny pieces mixed up with rice as filler, and overpriced. I know these are inflationary times, but we won't be coming back anytime soon based on our experience. We sat at the bar, and also felt we had to call out the bartender every time we needed service as he was busy pouring cocktails and filling drinks for the entire restaurant.

    Good service when we saw our waiter. We only saw him a couple of times. No water refill and couldn't tell about our meal that wasn't prepared correctly. Nice ambiance. The price is a little on the high end. When we paid for the bill, the server told us about happy hour specials. The Sea Bass was not cooked right and the chardonnay was not chilled properly. The salmon was ok at best. I would suggest the happy hour. I'm not sure we will be returning for dinner.

    We visited Kona quite a bit in the past but it has changed! The sushi rolls and brussel sprouts were good although the salmon was dry, the ribs were not cooked well and the macadamia nut chicken was a process meat, chicken patty! Kona has low quality food and is overpriced. We will not return!

    Poor service and food was meh. Pretzels rolls with butter were actually saltless pretzel sticks with pads of butter. Rustic chips ended up being inedible French fries when food was delivered. Was date night for wife and I and we were put in the corner on the wall for a two top. Server ignored us for most of the night. We tried it, won’t return.

    Sushi - very small rice to fish ratio for the nigori but tuna was good and fresh Sides - very good, the miso mashed potato was amazing Prime Rib - Don't get unless you want overcooked PR. Asked for mid-rare, got med well. They gave me another, same thing if not even more well done. Plus side, without asking them to, they compted it but still was disappointed. Wait - waited nearly 45 mins past our reservation, all others in the lobby were as well. They clearly over book on purpose. Service - server was very kind but very busy. Had to get everything wanted out at once if you hope to order within 30 mins of being seated.

    Went here for Valentine’s Day. Server was nice. All cocktails were $15 using not great liquor. Cosmopolitan wasn’t balanced and the server tried to take it away when I clearly had another 1+ sips left. Seabass appetizer only came with two sliders for $26. Ribeye was unevenly cooked. They forgot my side of green beans. Was seated on their indoor/outdoor patio which has a sloped floor and chairs that may be comfortable for lounging but not for eating dinner. Decor hasn’t changed since it was opened in the early 2010s.

    The food was not that great, and is way over priced. The server was odd. The manager did come by to check on us which was nice. But when the final check came, I actually felt like I’d been robbed financially, given the lack of food quality. They should not be charging that much, and I’ll likely never come back to this place.

    I booked a table for my wife and I several weeks in advance. When we arrived we were told they had triple booked many time slots, we were seated at a tiny bar table that wobbled hazardously and a backless stool. It was impossible to be comfortable and once our initial drinks were provided, we had no room for appetizer plates. Upon reviewing the menu, it was obvious it was strictly limited to just a fraction of the items normally available (undoubtedly due to the overbooking and expected workload on the kitchen. Our waitress was very friendly ( the only redeeming facet to our visit.). Ultimately, we opted to leave as it was clear it was not the dining experience we expected from previous occasions. Overall, not an acceptable experience.

    I love Kona Grill. The variety of options, the happy hours and drink options, etc. Brought my girlfriend here for our anniversary. Feb 13th. I put down it was our anniversary but I am sure the host has to tell server or something but we sat next to a table where their server told them they saw it was their anniversary and kept wishing them happy anniversary and they got a free dessert even for celebrating something special. Made me a little sad we did not get the same treatment. Like I said I am aure just lack of communication on the staff end. Loved the food. Tried drinks and apps and enjoyed our meal very much. Just a little bummer to watch table next to us get to celebrate a little more. Didnt want to mention to our server and seem like we were asking for free stuff just woulda been nice to be acknowledged the same way other table was. :) Our server was Jason I think! Awesome guy kept our drinks coming and food was perfect! He was great. Love the fish tank too!

    We have not been to Kona in a while and it was very good. Had to get a better table than seated even though the area was fairly empty Service was great and our waitress made some great suggestions for our meal when asked. Food was very good, as I remember it. It was worth coming back again!

    Our evening was perfect. We ordered Happy Hour apps and drinks and some fun apps after that. Service was sooo friendly and attentive. Several of the staff would walk by and just stop to chat for a sec, very homey. The huge aquarium is mesmerizing. The only thing we didn't like is how uncomfortable the booth seating is in the bar, on the wall. The seat isn't deep enough and leans forward so you slip out and the tables are too far away from the person seated. We always love coming here and will always come back.

    Ridiculously over priced and they cut back their portions. I ordered the spicy shrimp tempura and they served me 4 pieces. That used to come with at least 12-15 pieces. Not worth it.

    The quality of food for the money isn’t quite right. Food is mediocre at best honestly. Service was good though. Host/hostesses were not rude but certainly not warm and friendly as one would expect. Not sure I’ll be back.

    Booked my reservation through Open Table which is great — I love that app. But when we arrived at the restaurant the check in was so crowded you could barely get up to the desk. Once I got up front the host said that I would get a table when they had one available. He started calling out names like I was just put on a list. Once they called my name — 30 minutes after my set time — they set us in the bar that was super cold because a window or something was open. The food was adequate but the steaks were either overcooked or undercooked. We were given dirty silverware and they were out of Michelob Ultra at 7:30. What a messed up evening! We paid a premium for this too. 😤

    I was greatly disappointed. Prime rib was over seasoned and well done. Very thin piece. Salmon was dry. The seabass sliders were a highlight! Very good. The hamburger was like a hockey puck. Just pass on this place.

    We were seated promptly and pleasantly at our reservation time. Our server was very nice and very efficient. But beyond that I can’t give much of a recommendation. The space is very typical chain type restaurant with the added “bonus” of mobile mini screens on the tables, that you can pay $2.99 to play games on or check yourself out when you are finished eating. It looked like kids were having fun on the games. The food was just ok. Typical of a medium range chain type restaurant. We had the $20 chicken satay app, a $20 cheeseburger and fries, a vegetarian pasta dish and split the $15 butter cake. The main reason I wouldn’t go back is the pricing for the quality of food is crazy. I had thought of trying the fish and chips until I saw the $37 price. Again the food was average at best and certainly you can find the same dishes at much better prices and better quality. I don’t mind spending the dollars at a fine dining or any amazing quality food spot. This wasn’t it.

    We have always loved to eat at KG. This time we noticed to portion sizes were significantly smaller. In fact, we asked if they brought us the appetizer poke bowl by mistake because it was so small (for $25). Everything was tasty, though.

    The food sounded great in the Devour menu but was actually quite mediocre and therefore overpriced. Prime rib overdone. Shrimp overdone. Waiter unaware of need for wasabi with sushi. Empty restaurant at 5 but eventually filled up. Poor souls. We had considered going at a later date for brunch, based on the description, but after eating there, we won't be returning.

    Although we are returning diners, this was the first time we had tried their brunch. Let’s just say, we will be back! Both our dishes were wonderful in taste and aroma! This was backed up by our incredibly pleasant and engaging server Emily who was perfect!
