   We had an appointment but we were seated 57 minutes later. Food was cold. Manager was rude when I apprised her of the situation. I had taken my meds and had to wait another hour for my food. That made my blood sugar drop significantly. I had a miserable night because of that. Our appetizers and main food came within 4 minutes of each other. People who walked in after us were seated before us. I don’t know if it’s a race issue or they were friends of manager, but I will never go back to this restaurant. Will tell everyone about my experience. Horrible horrible place. To top it all we were trying to celebrate my older son’s birthday which they completely ruined.

   Long wait even with a reservation (45 minutes). Was told they took too many reservations by Manager. Very, very disappointing.

   The food was good but it took nearly 2 hours to get our entrees served. The server did his best but experience tainted by a painfully slow kitchen.

   We love coming to Kona and have never had a bad meal but the service was a slow as we have ever seen it not to mention our waitress was not overly friendly and not one time apologetic. We sat 15 minutes without a drink order 32 minutes before ordering and were there an hour and a half before our meal ever came

   Met friends for dinner. Had the cutest waitress - very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious (as usual). Love Kona Grill!

   Great dinner with a free friends for my birthday. The place was packed but service was still great. Jacob took great care of us and all the food was delicious. Really liked their “New Old Fashioned” as well as the sunset roll.

    Unfortunately this was not the experience we thought it was going to be. My prime rib was grey and so tough it was inedible, the service was slow and not efficient, and the crowd was not that of what I except from Kona Grill. I’ve had significantly different experiences at other locations. Manage your expectations before going.

    Love Kona, it's always consistent and tasty! We had only about 40 minutes to enjoy dinner and our server Mary was quick and did a great job. It feels expensive, like maybe prices increased quite a bit recently and understandably, but it probably ends up being more like a special treat for us these days rather than a regular stop.

    Reservations honored; we had the Sea Bass and the surf and turf (7 oz filet and shrimp skewer). Both prepared and served well. The only drinks we had was house warm sake. Management installed those table specific tablets that allow you to check out without assistance. However, these devices also have table side games for the kids. Each game costs $2.99; you will amass an extra charges without notice. We did not use the game portion of the device, but did accrue a change that needed to be removed. So look at your bill carefully before paying!

    We go to Kona Grill every year for my birthday and the service and food never disappoint! Our servers this time (January 2023) were probably the best we’ve had yet. I have food allergies and the kitchen is always very accommodating and caring. They have a wide array of options on their menu and everything we’ve ever tried has been excellent. The noise level is pretty high if you are sitting at a central table (request a corner booth) but overall the atmosphere is great.

    An excellent experience. No waiting. Seated immediately. Our waiter was attentive, but not annoying. Manager checked in with us a couple times. Food was not only excellent, but very timely. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for anything from a romantic dinner to a family gathering.

    They definitely overbooked for the evening but did a good job handling. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our reservation. Took 30 minutes to receive our beverage order due to bar back up but the server warned us in advance. He kept us informed even though problems which we appreciated. Food came out promptly and all was good.

    New Years Eve… I guess shouldn’t expect too much. Frequent visitors at Kona Grill. Extremely loud. Bar service was terrible. Waitress did as best as she could (Star) but obviously overwhelmed. Food was ok… did not have usual menu pics and what that had for choices was a little disappointing. Again, shouldn’t have expected more because of New Year’s Eve date, but not their first rodeo so should have been a little better prepared.

    The place was amazing! The food was to dye for! My waitress was terrible and ignored my table the whole time we were there in fact we only had her at our table 2xs the whole time we were there. Once to take our order and once to drop off my husband’s drink and my water I asked for with my margarita. Other than that I loved it. Would recommend and will come back.

    My fiancé and I went to treat ourselves to a sushi dinner to celebrate the fact that we had just gotten engaged. The hostess greeted us and congratulated us on our engagement which was very appreciated! I don’t think our server knew we were celebrating though because she never said anything about it to us and it wasn’t acknowledged by the manager when he stopped by our table either. We love Kona and will definitely be back though because it is a favorite of ours!
