    Everything was great. The only disappointment was that the weather was perfect but the windows in the outdoor seating area were closed. Just a missed opportunity to enjoy the rare evening without heat and humidity in July, which was out goal.

    Very good options at good prices during happy hour. Dinner prices a little high but very flavorful. Busy place but our server was great - regularly checked with us and refilled water any time we were low and very nice. She even ran out to the parking lot after we left to give our friend her cell phone she left at the table.

    sushi was good for the most part. The calamari was very chewy and not a lot for the price. Didn't taste very good either. Sliders were tasty however appeal was 4-day old buns. Buns were not fresh and looked rather old. Haven't ate at KONA in quite a while and it was a great place to go for Happy Hour. Probably won't go back as the quality of food went down and the prices went up. Waiter was vey kind and service was good.

    Prices have gone up which is expected but they have also reduced portions. Usually order surf and turf that had two sides and less sushi options unless you want to pay an upcharge. It now has one. Bring back the baby potatoes! Still great service.

    The food was overpriced, but tasted fine. Hardly any gluten free options. The table was sticky. Spiderwebs and cobwebs on the wall. Service was quick and friendly. Probably wouldn’t go back.

We actually have lots of items on our menu that we can make gluten free by removing items or substituting different things - you just need to talk to your server/bartender and they will happily help you through it.     Prices are up. Guess that’s everywhere. Server was brand new, understandable in our current scenario. Portion was smaller as well. Had to ask for things that used to be taken care of. All In all not what we have become accustomed to at Kona

    The food and service is always great. It's disappointing to see the portions have decreased and the costs have increased but understandable post Covid. It's still my favorite happy hour place to be.

    The waiter who served us took about really close to or about 10 minutes before he came to us when he was standing right by the table next to our booth. He was taking his time chatting with the customer at that table who I assume he personally knows. There was no customer in front of us nor behind us. So that was for me was bad service. We are frequent Kona customers and having this kind of experience isn’t acceptable.

    It really pains me to write this. The Kona grill has always been one of my favorite restaurants, but it was a pretty sad failure this time. The food was delicious, and our server was great, but it took over an hour to have the food served. We went at 5:00, so it wasn't as packed as you would think due to the wait time for food. My son in law's meal was finally served 90 minutes after we arrived. I am not sure where things fell apart, but our server treated ua well, and was very embarassed about the experience. We will eventually be back, vut it will take a while. Hopefully they will train more staff and get their stuff together.

    Our steaks were cooked incorrectly (they mixed us up with eachother) but we ate them anyways. Other than that the food and service was great as always.

    My guest had the Salmon featured with Brussel Sprouts. The Salmon was outstanding, in generous portions, cooked just right, and fresh. If you like Brussel Sprouts these had excellent flavor! I had the Clam Chowder and Blue Cheese Salad. If you like spicy flavors, you will like this. It is not your traditional New England Clam Chowder. The Blue Salad was excellent! The greens were fresh and sweet. Enjoy! Again we were glad we found Kona Grill!

    Have had better food in the past. Bok Choy drowned in garlic. Sea bass pretty mediocre. Others in party were satisfied with their food.

    Celebrated my daughter's 20th birthday here last night and although the food was good the price increase for most meals is crazy. For a family of 5 to eat here and not order any alcoholic drinks it cost about $225. One of my daughters literally just ordered miso soup which a bowl was $11. I ordered the salmon dish which is very good and couldn't believe the price for it was $30 now. Our meal was good but it is hard to justify the price increase for many of the entrees. Due to this, it will probably be a long while before we will go back.

    The service was excellent. The steak just right. The sashimi was fresh and tasty, but the tempura roll was not so great. The tempura was soggy and it should be crunchy. Otherwise, the rice in the sushi was soft and just the right amount of sticky. Worth a visit!

    Went there for Mother’s Day. The worst experience I have ever had at Kona. Took us 40 minutes to get our drinks. Almost 2 hours to get food and it wasn’t even hot when we got it like it had sitting up there for a while! I used to live Kona but it has really gone downhill!

    Food taste great but there was a long wait four our food which was at least explained to us. A few cooks called out understandable. However the wait for our drinks was beyond ridiculous. We received food before our drinks from the bar finally I said just cancel it . We sat right by the bar and the bar staff were laughing and having around watching the game. The original waiter we had was great. He switched with a woman and she was okay seemed a bit overwhelmed. I would try it again just not on a holiday. Food was good but overpriced .

    Reservations were at 2:30, we were seated at 2:45. Orders at 3 and had food after 4. Sam was our server and he did what he could. Cool staff was short to begin with and cook walked off the job. I get businesses are short staff. Perhaps businesses should pay employees?

    Hello. We went to Kona for Mother’s Day. We walked in to 3-4 teenage girls gathered around the front desk. They had given our reservation away even though we were on time. 20 minutes later they seated us. We were then told that they had 2 chefs call in sick so their kitchen was falling behind. Our waitress had to cook and have her section of tables stocked with refills and attend to their needs. She was very nice and tried to be as attentive as she could. But one hour turned into two then two and a half and we received one refill of drinks and had received less than half of our food and drinks. The food we did receive was soggy and cold. There were also bugs flying around our drinks and food. We then had a waitress come up and ask if we wanted our check without noticing that our food hadn’t come yet. She then handed my father the bill that had all of the food we hadn’t received still on it and drink charges for drinks that had never made it to the table. We were forced to itemize our receipt and redo the charges before handing it back to our waitress. Sad experience here today. We went elsewhere after paying much too much for food that was subpar at best. We won’t return.

    Got a table for three at our reserved time. Ordered fairly quickly. It took over an hour to start receiving our entree orders...one person at a time, and separated by 10-20 minutes between each person getting their order. 3rd entree arrived over 90 minutes from when we ordered and 30 minutes from us receiving the 1st person's entree.

    Kona Grill food never disappoints. BUT we waited over an hour for our meal. Then made the mistake of ordering dessert; after a 1/2 hour of waiting we had to cancel as we had people waiting for us at home. It was Mothers Day - you would think they would staff accordingly! It wasn't our waiter's fault. The cooks were not able to keep up. I would recommend Kona Grill to a friend - but not on a holiday!
