We were expecting a typical croweded and noisy dinner at an upper west side restaurant on a fRiday night and were pleasantly surprised by the corner table we were given in a quieter section of the restaurant. I had actually asked, when I reserved, if we could be seated in a quiet spot, and so we were! A lovely evening heightened by our waiter's suggestion that we share the dishes we ordered, which we did, with delight all around the table. The branzino a particular hit with us!

Thai72 was the perfect stop before a show at The Beacon. A cool, relaxed vibe. Great drinks. Absolutely delicious food, and the staff was warm, courteous and very attentive.

Went for my husband's birthday and had a wonderful experience - special birthday card from the restaurant for him, great food, wonderful service, beautiful atmosphere!

This is a neighborhood hot spot, i.e., very loud and lively. They pump the music up -- a little too much for our liking -- so conversation isn't the easiest. But the food and service were fantastic, as were their specialty drinks. Great beer list . . . this place will stay busy, on weekends in particular, as more people know about it.
