Restaurants near Bearskin Neck Motor Lodge

Great place. My wife and I visit 1606, about 6 times per year. The service and food is always good. The restaurant is decorated tastefully with a Beautiful view of Gloucester harbor. Weather permitting, and last night was a bit too cold, the deck, complete with a gas fire pit and space heaters, provides a special Spot to eat, or enjoy a cocktail.

Excellent meal service was wonderful. Portions are outstanding

Another amazing dining experience at the chefs’ table near the open kitchen ! We were a party of seven. We had several craft cocktails ( memorable was a gin “tea” served in a beautiful teacup), vintage grand cru champagne, wine, just about every hot or cold appetizer, oysters with caviar, popovers( must try) , carpaccio ( outstanding) , many beautifully prepared and delicious entrées ( my favorite is the mushroom Campanelli) plus each of us had dessert ( Mexican chocolate ice cream, sticky pudding and blueberry ice cream - all hand made). I’m a local resident and took my family here the weekend of Thanksgiving ! This is the best restaurant scene ever to happen in Salem! Can’t say enough great things about this establishment. Our waitress Martina was outstanding and so was our sommelier!

Once again M1M exceeded expectations for us and our guests. Again Yuri was gracious and professional as she always is. Thanks again for maintaining quality food and service.
