We had a WONDERFUL experience at Este. We had a 7pm dinner for our anniversary and we loved it. The brought us "bubbles" to start AND end our meal as a celebration which I thought was a nice touch. The service was very attentive. Maddie was our server and she was phenomenal. She made great recommendations. For appetizers we got the cevice and the tostada. Drinks were very good. We also added both the corn and the citrus and peach and herb sides. The latter was my favorite side. The corn was okay. I bit spicy and since we got the last order there wasn't much corn on one of the cobs. The star of the show was the halibut. O-M-G. It is SO good. Top 3 things I've ever eaten in my life. Get this dish! Lastly, the dessert was fantastic. We had one minor hiccup in that the flowers in the dessert had a couple of ants, but they quickly rectified and explained that it was because the flowers were picked fresh from the garden. They replaced it and threw in additional dessert to apologize. We didn't mind. It shows how fresh it is! The one thing I'll mention is that it is a very bright and vibrant restaurant. I thought it was going to be a bit darker and more conducive to a romantic anniversary dinner. It did not change our experience, though. We will be back for sure!

I went for my birthday with my husband and we enjoyed it. Food was delicious. We had the carnitas plate it was awesome each bite had that crispiness (amazing) the Guacamole was also a favorite very fresh tasting. The suadero taco had a lot of flavor (love!) and the masa tortillas was all the rave!! We also ordered ceviche it was ok and we had the flautas but by then we were full lol but I did get a bite and that was a good bite. For dessert we ordered the Choco taco, best one I’ve had! They brought me guava ice cream with a candle for my birthday. We will definitely be back.
