    My friend had the bavette steamk which was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I mussels which were a special and again tasted amazing. My husband had duck cassoulet and was very impressed indeed. Service from everyone was excellent.

    The restaurant was very busy when we went but they did their best to accommodate our large party. Sophie was excellent at seeing we had everything we needed including high chairs, crayons and menus for our children. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very attentive and friendly during our dining experience.

    We went as a family on a Tuesday which is steak night (half price steak dishes). The steaks were exceptionally good (all four). It was truly superb value. As you would expect with such a discount it was extremely busy, loud, and the staff were run off their feet (so service was a bit hit and miss). Having said that the serving staff were all charming and were clearly doing their best. So if you want exceptional steaks at a great price, are mentally prepared for a very busy, fairly chaotic (and pretty loud) restaurant, then you definitely won’t be disappointed with Steak Night….
