Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

    Enjoyed dinner with a companion. We sat close to the fireplace which added to our enjoyment. I got the seafood sampler and she got the seared tuna. Both dishes were excellent. The restaurant is pricey, but the service, food quality, and food quantity justify the price.

    Friday afternoon lunch was stellar. We were extremely well taken care of and amazing food. We enjoyed Oysters 3-ways and all were fresh and perfectly prepared. We shared the two soup specials that were flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The fish and chips were great with plenty to share between us. The wine was perfect....started with two Chardonnay's (one Chablis and one Napa) and then two Pinot's....great quality and a very nice pour of each. A wonderful experience as usual and cannot wait to go back!

    This was our first visit and it was excellent. The food was outstanding. Fresh, loved, carefully curated. Everything is made from scratch to order and could not have been better. Our server Haley was awesome as well. She made thoughtful recommendations and was pleasant and perfectly attentive. The Waygu short rib pappardelle was amazing and my wife’s sea bass was cooked to perfection and seasoned expertly. Do yourself a favor and try the roasted creamy garlic soup. You won’t be disappointed.
