With ten taps for a range of beer styles and cider, a thoughtful Tassie-centric wine list, a huge range of local and international spirits, and a range of non-alcoholic options, there is something for everyone. Not to mention, our full kitchen menu serving up beer inspired snacks, delicious seasonal mains, burgers, and more. With plenty of Gf optionsOur property was once one of Tassie’s premier hop growing regions; in fact, the heritage listed space that now houses our fermentation tanks was used to hang and dry the hops. What better place for a working brewery today!

A modern dining destination in Hobart that centres on fire-driven cooking and refined technique. The concept brings together stone and flame as opposing yet complementary elements, shaping each dish through precision heat and careful craft. The restaurant positions itself in the realm of Japanese-influenced fine dining, where flavour is built from smoke, sear and seasonal produce, and each course is meant to feel purposeful and expressive. Expect an emphasis on smoky textures, bold yet balanced seasoning, and culinary execution that focuses on the transformative power of heat. The venue also highlights a thoughtful drinks programme and an inviting outdoor space designed for shared plates and extended evenings. Stone & Flame is part of Hobart’s evolving food scene, offering a tasting experience that leans into atmosphere as much as the food itself.

Belvedere feeds a growing global appetite for authentic local encounters intertwined with paddock to plate. Through thoughtful interactions, we will create experiences that talk to the providence of the site (through art and design) and to the produce we serve. The site’s colonial backstory serves as an entrée to its incarnation as ‘The Belvedere’ – a beloved Art Deco dance hall that shaped the city’s social fabric from the late 1930s. This story is memorialised in mesmerising chain art – featuring a 7.5m x 3m Kriskadecor panel.Paying homage to this memory, the new ‘Belvedere’ will take its rightful spot as a modern-day gathering place, inviting travellers, corporate crowds and locals to celebrate the best of Tasmania. From paddock to seashore, the menu will showcase the Apple Isle’s rich bounty of produce, and Cape Grim Beef will share centre stage with Meander Valley Chicken, local cheeses and artisan products.

This was a very special night for my partner, her parents, and I. We were able to celebrate our engagement (I proposed there, before dessert) in style! The whiskey flights were a fantastic compliment to the $120 course meal. The food was heavenly, with an incredible range of flavors and balanced textures that followed a unique Japanese-inspired theme. It’s a shame that this menu will likely be rotated out eventually, because next year or after, we’re returning with more family. Luckily, we are looking forward to whatever these incredible chefs come up with next. As for the service staff, they went above and beyond, not only helping me surprise my now-fiancé (She said “Yes.”), but also filming for me! They really went above and beyond to make us feel appreciated and special. 10/10. Would recommend.

One of my favourite bars. Great beers, especially the 3.5% pale ale mid, perfect for when you're driving...or the IPA when you're not! Amazing burgers and super friendly staff. Try and go once a week if I can.
