Rí Rá is located in an historic bank building, designed by Boston based Harper & West, that was completed in 1931. The pub opened for the first time in March 1999, and was extended in 2002 with the addition of the Library area. In February 2012, The Whiskey Room opened its doors. As you enter Rí Rá, you can imagine yourself walking through a door that leads you across the pond to experience the best pubs of Ireland. The pub interiors were salvaged and restored in Ireland prior to being shipped to Vermont. We are proud to showcase a unique and genuine Irish pub in the heart of Burlington.

Over the years I have traveled extensively throughout Italy in search of new ideas, recipes, and great wines to bring back to Three Tomatoes. The source of inspiration continues to be the simple, fresh, healthy and local foods of Trattoria style cooking. Eating in a Trattoria in Italy is like eating with an Italian family. The mood can be relaxed or boisterous, but always friendly. It is a home away from home and a gathering place for friends. I have tried to capture the warmth of the trattoria kitchen with its open fire, the aroma of simmering sauces, roasted meats, grilled fish and pizza baking in our custom built wood fired oven. Our newly revised wine list has been enhanced by selections of distinction and value inspired by attending Vinitaly, Slow Food's Terra Madre and visiting vineyards throughout Italy, Sicily and Sardinia. Three Tomatoes has captured some of the spirit that makes wine, food, and conviviality such an important part of trattoria life.

    The Plate brings you fabulous food on very interesting plates! Their plates themselves are something to see! They are collection of very old plates, which have a history, to very modern plates, which are creating a new story, and everything in between!! So, in addition to admiring the food on them, the plates themselves are one of the things that attracts me to this restaurant!  Plate is eclectic, adventurous, fun, and delivers an exceptional dining experience for everyone! Go for the food and everything else provided to you by the Plate restaurant! This evening we had the pork chop, we shared a delicious beet salad and ordered the pork chop which was outstanding, moist, and delicious! We brought the Banana Pudding home for another day!!! They let you take it home in a Mason Jar! Cool, huh? Try this wonderful restaurant, which I believe had the best food in Stowe!!!
