Everything about this restaurant is impeccable. Starting with a warm and prompt welcome, the tables are beautifully set and spaced far enough apart that you can have a real conversation even when the restaurant is busy. The service is wonderful, attentive, friendly, and very professional. Every dish I've tried from the menu has gone beyond expectations: the food arrives so hot and fresh, I'm fairly certain it comes straight from the kitchen without delays or "warming plates". The wine list has a lot of good choices at various price points and the servers are very willing to give detailed recommendations. In addition, this time we were celebrating a special occasion and the restaurant offered to do a special banner at the top of the menu for our table! How awesome is that!! So personalized. I can't wait to return again. The dreamy branzino crudo and the Gnudi are absolutely heavenly -- it's a foodie/gourmet paradise.

We loved our visit to Buttermilk & Bourbon but after we had the hostess change our table. The room to the left inside with brick walls was too noisy for us. The waitstaff was so sweet to relocate us snd the good delicious! Will be back when in Boston.

Good service, good food, but a bit noisy… I guess it doesn’t really bring the total value of this place down, I’ll still return here for future visits!

Delicious food, excellent service. The clam chowder was amazing. My husband had the scallops and I had the crusted haddock. Both were delicious and prepared perfectly. We ate outside so it was a bit noisy and at times smelled of cigarette and marijuana smoke. Next time we will elect to eat inside. Our server was excellent.

We loved our hightop table and the ambience of the restaurant. Our waitress was spectacular, charming, and helpful. And the food was out of this world. Wine service was superb. We will be back!
