Large neighborhood restaurant with lines so make reservations. Street parking that can be problematic. High volume of chatter. Recommended.

We loved everything about this restaurant! We were served champagne upon arrival as we were celebrating our anniversary. Audrey was our server and she could not have been delightful ! She offered good suggestions as well and even brought us wagyu wontons because we hadn’t ordered them with our meal and she thought we’d love them and we did ! Everything was absolutely delicious ! We ended with dessert and chose two off the menu, Audrey’s favs and they brought a 3rd as an anniversary treat ! Like I said, we just loved their whole vibe and will be back! Do yourself a favor and go to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed !

Dining with friends at Cowboy Star Steakhouse was a treat, but I have to highlight my own meal, which was nothing short of superb. I started with the Pacific Northwest raw oysters. Though on the smaller side, they were bursting with fresh, briny flavor—a perfect way to kick off the night. Then, I enjoyed the wedge salad, which came with a generous slab of house-cured bacon, adding a savory depth that made it incredibly satisfying. For my main, I went with the Double R Ranch 35-day dry-aged ribeye, cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The flavor was rich and earthy, with that distinct dry-aged taste that made each bite melt in my mouth. To complement the meal, we shared a bottle of Chateau Lafon-Rochet Grand Cru Classé, Saint-Estèphe 2012. This Bordeaux delivered with its notes of dark fruit, earthiness, and a hint of spice. I planned to sip it slowly, but it was so smooth that I ended up finishing 2 glasses myself. Amidst the lively Western ambiance and impeccable service, this dinner stood out as a premium experience worth every penny. For steak lovers looking to indulge, Cowboy Star is a must.

Seneca is top tier. Every time we visit SD we find time to get a dinner in over there. The staff is A1, the food is to die for, and you can't beat a 19th floor view of the harbor. Highly recommend any of the pastas. We love Seneca and all CH properties, you will not be disappointed.
