Restaurants near Desert Village Shopping Center

We had the greatest staff waiting on us. Dillon and Ty were awesome. Never a moment that we weren’t taken care of. The food is always fantastic.

Our party of 4 had such a wonderful evening at Il Segreto. We are in town from Denver for a high school baseball showcase and wanted to have a special dinner in the north Scottsdale area near our hotel. There are literally 100 Italian restaurants in Scottsdale with the same tired menus catering to the same tired midwesterners. Il Segreto is not that. Everything about this restaurant has been thought out in great detail, from the speakeasy decor, to the gorgeous china used for plating, to the delicious northern Italian menu crafted by Chef Anthony. The entire staff was amazing, as well. Our server, Amo, was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The restaurant has a phenomenal low key and relaxed vibe made possible by the staff. We basically shut the place down by the end of the night but not before we were able to chat with the lovely owners at the bar. It’s mind boggling that Il Segreto has only been open for 7 weeks - it’s already running like a seasoned restaurant. This will be the hottest ticket in town by winter!

The Belmont is one of our favorite restaurants. Sitting outside on the patio is preferred to sitting inside, because the noise level is so much better, but either place is very nice. The service is handled smoothly and professionally by a well-staffed group. We love the chopped salad, followed by the Argentine Filet, with a creamy puree and green beans (which were graciously substituted for asparagus). The dessert profiteroles were so light and delicious. Truly, we always look forward to returning!

Went there on a Thursday night and was very pleasantly surprised. Our food was amazing and better than I remembered when last at the Arcadia location. We ordered the Scottish Salmon, Korean Steak, and the pressed yellowtail as an app. All three were absolutely amazing. Also ordered a couple cocktails with the Good Western standing out the most. Only comments I have would be on the kids menu we ordered the Mac and cheese for all 3 of our kids and 2 liked it and one did not. Issue is the flavor while very enjoyable for an adult is a little sophisticated for a basic kids pasta. The pasta was very cheesy with a mix of higher end cheeses and I felt like I actually got hints of a truffle flavor in there. This would be good for adults, but is a little much for kids. It’s funny to say this, but I recommend going more basic. Overall excellent and we will be back. Just without the kids next time.

Hugh and his staff consistently deliver the best Asian food with outstanding service. We were celebrating my son’s upcoming wedding and he even treated us to champagne and dessert. Amazing!
