I had been having the craving for oysters, mussels, and clams. It was surprisingly tricky to find a place that had all 3. Well Amen did. Made reservations and was treated when we arrived. Hostess was pleasant but tried setting us at a high top. Would have been great if just came for an entree but I was planning to eat so asked for a booth and was accommodated. Ordered the baked oysters, the mussels and littleneck clams. I could write 2 pages in the oysters alone but I’ll just say wow! 7/5 stars! Super good. The mussels were amazing also, and the sauce….if I had a loaf of bread I could have made that a meal! The clams were good, but a tad on the small side, even for little necks. Also I don’t know where they get their bread or if it’s made in house but seriously good bread! I ordered the low country bouillabaisse…DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! 10/5 stars!! Goodness was it good. The salmon fillet was a generous 4-6oz. Super flakey and just plain good! The broth…can I just order that and bread? THAT GOOD!! Had mussels, shrimp and clams. Generous portion…enough for one but you can share if you like your company! This was seriously a solid dish. Very good!!!! My date had the steak with greens and whipped mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked perfectly and super tender. The greens were very tasty…and the potatoes were very good also! No complaints on this dish either. Overall though the experience was great, the waiter was amazing(I’m sorry I forgot your name or I’d have given you a shout out too), and reasonably priced for all the food. Happy with everything and left with a full and happy belly. Hats off to the chef here.

Great venue and awesome food. Filet Mignon cooked to perfection! Would definitely return again. Two things to note - first, parking in the nearby rear lot was an expensive $42 for 4 hours - only cheaper alternative was for an inadequate 1 hour. Park on the street or somewhere else. Second, got the 1 dozen oysters which were good but lacking the briny juice that I really enjoy. The serving came out so quick that I assume they shucked them much earlier losing most of the juice. Regardless, a great restaurant and one that well go to again when we return.
