- DDarLisaNew Orleans / Louisiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI can absolutely see 34 becoming a staple for me in New Orleans. The ambience and décor are stunning—elevated yet welcoming—and the wine selection is vast, featuring an impressive array of Portuguese options that perfectly complement the menu’s influences. The dishes are packed with fresh, vibrant flavors. We started with the freshly baked breads served with homemade butter—an incredible way to begin the meal. The carrots with pine nut cream offered great flavor, though I would have preferred them served warm. The bifana sandwich was hearty with bold flavors, though slightly on the salty side. The Shrimp San Miguel was a standout for me: rich, flavorful, and simply impeccable. My friends ordered the crudo and quite literally left no crumbs. We also shared the paella, served family-style. Its presentation was gorgeous, but the flavors fell a bit short, and there was a mix-up with a dietary preference. However, the manager addressed it promptly and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. The whole fish was another highlight of the night—my table thoroughly enjoyed it. For dessert, the pineapple pain perdu with pineapple rum caramel sauce was phenomenal; I’d return just for that. The passion fruit gelato was refreshing and delicious, while the chocolate mousse cake was decadent and satisfying. But the true star of the evening was Joe Witkowski, the dining room manager. Joe was attentive, personable, and genuinely passionate about creating an exceptional dining experience. From thoughtful recommendations to his unmatched service, he turned what could have been an ordinary evening into a memorable one. His warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression and are a big part of why I’ll be returning to 34 and singing its praises to anyone who’ll listen. If you visit, make sure to stop by and meet Joe—although I’m confident he’ll find his way to your table to ensure your experience exceeds expectations.More info34 Restaurant & BarPrice: Very Expensive• Portuguese• Central Business District•4.6
- JJasonvipNew Orleans / Louisiana •22 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur host Gabe is such a great guy, he really made us feel welcomed when we arrived, when checking on us during our meal and giving us a warm send-off as we were leaving. The service was very professional, they went the extra mile to accommodate my dairy-free dietary restriction. The house made pasta was fantastic. The interior design of the restaurant is really beautiful, so many features to look at and the atmosphere is very up-beat. Thanks to all for a wonderful experience.More infoSofia New OrleansPrice: Expensive• Italian• Warehouse District•4.7

I highly recommend this restaurant based on the quality and taste of food, the ambience and their exceptional service. Our waiters Kevin and Pauly were the best. Probably one of the top two steaks I’ve ever had in my life. We will be back. More infoDesi Vega's SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Warehouse District•4.7
