- HHollyPortland / Oregon •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoPhenomenal meal and stellar service! This is our favourite plan in Stratford upon Avon, dating back twenty years ago when we first ate there. My son adored the burger, and it continued to win his heart. I had the set menu with a hearty chicken liver pate appy, a beautiful sea bream in a sauce with potatoes and a tasty banoffee pie. Great beer, cider choices and a nice espresso capped it off. Our server was the warmest lady, as was the hostess. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and ridiculously historic. Prices were quite reasonable for such a fine dining meal. Easy walking distance to the RSC.More infoThe VintnerPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.7
- PPeterWarwickshire •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI booked Loxley’s as a Surprise for my wife’s birthday. We had a really lovely evening with a cosy table for two beside a lovely fire. The food was first class and the chateaubriand was just superb! A special mention also to all the excellent staff, in particular our waitress. So professional, friendly and with a lovely sense of humour. We visit Stratford upon Avon frequently and we’ve dined in many of the restaurants but Loxley’s must be our favourite.More infoLoxley's Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Moderate• British• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.8

- SMSteveMFrance •1 review4.0Dined on Feb 11, 2022A real Italian restaurant, although with some changes to menu style to suit local expectations, this is a welcome change from the many chain restaurants that are the same everywhere. Very good food, and a reasonably extensive and not over-priced wine list. My veal was perfectly cooked (pink), as was my wife's fish. The portion sizes are reasonable, so don't be afraid to order a couple of side dishes. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was perhaps just a little too rapid for my taste, I'd have preferred a slightly longer wait to finish my cocktail, and between courses, but that's very much personal preference. We will certainly return.More infoSorrentoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.5
