- KKarinNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoIve eaten here many times and its always great, but last night i was BLOWN AWAY. Everything from service, food, and wine selection was perfect. We opened with Andre Clouet champagne, which was drinking beautifully. The wine list at L'antagoniste is one of the city's best deals, and I paired it with the frisse salad, which had the most amazing dressing (cucumber sorbet!!! brilliant) and the decadent escargot dish with came with frogs legs and bone marrow. Then we moved on to a 2018 1er cru burg which was beyond perfect. We enjoyed the duck a la orange, which was modern and updated, the mashed potatoes was so good we took more home. The temp on the meat was perfection. Instead of oranges, they use picked grapefruit which is less sweet and oh-so-good! we also had the steak which was BIG, and perfectly cooked. I could not have been happier, and felt more satisfied. Thank you for a great evening!More infoL'AntagonistePrice: Expensive• French• Bedford-Stuyvesant•4.8
- CChayaVIPNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 27, 2024Excellent, friendly, accommodating service. Inventive, flavorful food made with a lot of care and attention. But also a fun, easy place. Worked well for our group of six. On NYT's top 100 restaurant list for a reason.More infoFalansaiPrice: Moderate• Vietnamese• Williamsburg•4.8
- KKarenVIPNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 2, 2024All the dishes were delicious and the tasting menu is a good value for what you get! Plus FREE music from really talented musicians while you’re eating, and a nice drinks list (just wine-based cocktails, but they’re good!) I would definitely go back!More infoUmbraPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bushwick•4.9
