Restaurants near Iao Valley State Park

One of our favorite places to eat in Maui! Love the open beachfront dining. Excellent food, friendly welcoming servers. Awesome’Hula Pie’!!

We enjoyed every minute at Leilani's! Our server, Katy, explained the menu options in detail and she was patient while we relaxed, watched the amazing sunset, and enjoyed our glass of wine. The food was delicious and exactly as Katy described. Beautiful restaurant with a sunset view that will make you fall in love again.

I chose Mala Ocean Tavern for my birthday dinner and I’m so glad. The ambiance was lovely with a table ocean side. Our server, Joe, was attentive without being obsequious. Best Mai Tai I have ever had and I have had quite a few! Both our dinners were excellent. We’re already planning to come back. Make no mistake, this is fine dining without the tablecloths, flowers and candles.

We went as a party of 4 and decided to order family style so we could taste more dishes (highly recommend). Each dish was very flavorful and well made. So darn ONO!! We tasted and LOVED the pork belly and aloha poi, oysters on the half shell, miso broiled local fish, pan seared ribeye, tempura pork ribs, and Korean chicken with tutu Karen Ouraʻs dry mein. All yniquely flavored and memorable. Although we were stuffed, we were already planning for what to try the next time we come. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and constantly checked in. The price cannot be beat for the quality if food. The one thing we were nit prepared for was the restaurant not being accessible and is located on the 2nd floor. The stair case is also old and in slight disrepair. Although it took us awhile to get upstairs, I think as a courtesy, people should be aware. Good news, it was worth the struggle to get upstairs.
