Welcome to Margaritaville Capitola! Our restaurant has been welcoming guests to Capitola for over 30 years. In January 2015 the original owners sold the business to Sunset Hospitality Group, a Santa Cruz family owned and operated company. We completed a full remodel of the restaurant, reinvented the food and service and opened May 7, 2015.The new Margaritaville is dedicated to serving made from scratch Mexican seafood in a first class casual environment. Our dog-friendly heated patio is a great place to enjoy Baja fish tacos and Crispy Calamari.     We had a perfect table on their rear deck enjoying the view of the estuary and bathing seagulls. The food choices were perfect for an early light dinner on our way home: shared walnut/apple/gorgonzola salad, and unshared onion soup, fish tacos, and grilled shrimp lettuce wrap…plenty to eat and all delicious. We’ll be back.

    Seven was our Server. He took care of us during our Christmas dinner and was just as amazing this time around he took phenomenal care of us. The halibut special was so good. We both had it for dinner. Best plate of oysters anywhere Went back on Sunday for football sat at the bar with Madison and we were treated like VIPs ! Every time we are in town, we will be back ask for these two by name!
