Ate at the raw bar last night with Chef Jason and Liv as my server. Amazing food, fantastic atmosphere, but the best part was the service. They felt like old friends, and absolutely was the best part of the meal.

Overall, this was an excellent evening. The food was very good from start to finish. My NY strip was well prepared and enjoyable, though I can't call it the best I've ever had. Still, nothing on the table disappointed. What really sets this restaurant apart is the staff. They were wonderful, and there were plenty of them, which is rare these days. Too many restaurants leave you hunting for your server. Here, someone was always nearby, attentive without hovering. One moment summed up the whole evening. A guest at our table spilled a small drop of gravy on her blouse. Within about ten seconds, a waiter had noticed, stepped over, and quietly handed her a Tide pen. He didn't make a fuss. He had just been paying attention and had a fix ready in his pocket. That kind of awareness takes real training and real care, and it made an impression on all of us. Add the warm, old-world ambiance, which makes you want to linger over one more drink, and it all adds up to a dining experience that feels increasingly hard to find. I'll definitely be back for the good food, the outstanding service, and the timeless atmosphere. I would go back for the good food, amazing service and old world ambiance.
