Restaurants near Makena Golf Course

Our server was very friendly and offered her favorite dishes right away and explained the specials. We ordered the special lobster spring rolls which were delicious and had just the right heat. Both my husband and I had the fish in tai leaf with coconut curry which was outstanding. Ended with the Pina Colada cake which was soooo good!! All service was outstanding and enjoyed the live music also.

Food and service were excellent but it’s hard to call a $60 piece of fish a “great value.” But look, it’s Maui and it’s the Waldorf so shut up and expect to pay for it. Enjoy the island!

Collin was a great server. The view is amazing. What a sunset! Food was great. Prices super reasonable. We will come back.

After trying Morimoto’s in Napa we were so excited to find this on our Maui trip. Amazing service and knowledge of the food and pairings. Tasting menu was a similar experience to the one in Napa, but had its own special uniqueness to it. Sake flight was paired with tasting menu. Other items tried: Duck Fried Rice - amazing and very filling. Braided Blacken Cod - melts in your mouth Bruselsprouts - tasty with the nice cut of lemon on top. The atmosphere was amazing indoor before a luau started. Elevated environment and the staff was excited to serve us.

This was our first time at MonkeyPod. We’ve always heard about it but just hadn’t eaten there yet. I don’t know why we waited so long because the food, drinks & service were amazing! Wonderful experience! Shoutout to Jay-son, our server, who was phenomenal. Made our experience here even better. We appreciate your fun happy vibe, & all your recommendations.
