As always, our meal at Jaleo was scrumptious. It’s hard to choose from so many delicious options! We sat outside, and had sun in our eyes for a bit, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. You can’t go wrong with the food or drinks at Jaleo, and the service is consistently excellent.

If you find yourself in the DC area DO NOT pass on an opportunity to dine here! The food, drinks, and service are outstanding. This is all wrapped in an interesting setting, that maintains an energetic flow without sacrificing intimacy, making it ideal for dinner out with friends or for date night. The food is a fusion of Korean and Southern US BBQ that manages to be authentic to both cultures and completely unique in their flavors at the same time. I highly recommend the Ribs or the "Dirty Chicken" for your 1st visit and do not pass up getting the collards with kimchi as a shareable side dish.
