    This was my first time to La Popular. This is a beautiful place. Ambiance is moody in a good way. I ordered the shrimp fajitas. The sauce on the shrimp was different and fantastic. I will be back again when I visit Claremont again.

    I took my dog, Cassie, and we dined in the outdoor seating area. The Bacon Candy appetizer never fails to be outstanding. I strayed from my usual favorites and tried the Honey Miso Chicken from the $15 Fireside Favorites Menu. I substituted shrimp for the chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The meal included a wonderful banana pudding, I'll have it again. My server, Roxie, was very attentive and made some good suggestions. Lazy Dog is a restaurant at which I feel comfortable dining alone.

    Tried to book a birthday room for my daughter but was unable to. Decided to book in the restaurant. Had a party of 14 kids-our server was EXCELLENT and had so much patience. I would HIGHLY recommend this if you’re looking for a quiet place for a delicious lunch and let the kids run around in the arcade. Would definitely come back for a party. Super impressed!
