Bar service was great- both Daniels were friendly. The Daniel in the suit was very accommodating and attentive.. The sommelier was friendly, spot on and took extra care to decant the wine and ensured we enjoyed the wine throughout our meal.

CN was one of the highlights of our Houston trip. The food was excellent from start to finish, and the service matched it. We ordered the Spanish octopus, Cinco Jotas ham, croquettes, patatas bravas, and the suckling pig. The octopus was especially good, perfectly cooked and one of the best dishes of the night. The Cinco Jotas ham was also outstanding, and the suckling pig was rich, tender, and beautifully prepared. Even the potatoes and croquettes felt carefully executed rather than like afterthoughts. The restaurant itself is elegant without feeling stuffy, and the service was attentive, knowledgeable, and well paced. It felt like a special dinner but still relaxed enough to really enjoy the evening. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Houston and enjoy Spanish food. We would absolutely return

Visited on a mid-week evening of a home baseball game to catch up with a friend. David provided an excellent experience both while waiting at the bar and even served once we were seated. A great time and a wonderful spot. Ample valet parking. Will visit again.

Excellent food. Salmon entree was the best ever as was the cheeseburger and Parmesan fries. The lobster roll was enjoyed by two friends who never offered to share, because it was so good. Martinis were outstanding too. Britanni was a very good server.

My husband and I eat at quite a few local restaurants and steakhouses around the Houston area, and Guard and Grace truly exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The steaks were absolutely incredible—so flavorful, perfectly prepared, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Every bite was better than the last. The sides were just as impressive, especially the crispy potato pavé, which was honestly one of the best sides we’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was outstanding as well. Our entire experience felt attentive, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable. You could tell the staff really cared about making sure we had a great evening. Most importantly, we had an amazing time. Between the food, the service, and the overall experience, Guard and Grace has easily become one of our favorite dining experiences in Houston. We eat at a lot of steakhouses, and I can honestly say this was probably the best steak we’ve ever had. We will absolutely be back! If I could give more than five stars, I would.
