- JJudithvipNew York City •79 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI have been to Limani many many times for lunch and it never disappoints. This time I tried the shrimp and avocado appetizer which was quite good although scallops are still my favorite appetizer. For the main I got shrimp with feta cheese which I’ve had before. It was good but I think the salmon is still my favorite. And I got the orange olive oil cake which was quite good for dessert. When I made the reservation I indicated that it was for a birthday. I very very much appreciate that Lumani took this to heart and, when dessert arrived, had a little lit candle in a strawberry to wish my friend happy birthday. A very very nice touch. Thank you Limani.More infoLimani - NYCPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Rockefeller Center•4.7

The process was very simple and I did not give it any additional thought. When we arrived at the restaurant, :30 minutes early for our 7pm reservation. the Front of the House immediately remarked about our special evening and thanked us for choosing their restaurant to celebrate. Again, unsolicited, but we felt it was very nice that this was acknowledged. We've been to this venue multiple times, usually sitting outside, but this time we were seated inside the dining room, in a mini-mezzanine on the 54th street side. Service was excellent and we really wanted the cold seafood platter as well as the Tartare. Our server, Red, was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening, Leisurely pace of dinner and the evening was capped off with a wonderful gesture from the restaurant for dessert. Both of us were very pleased at how enjoyable and wonderful this anniversary dinner unfolded. Thank you La Grande Boucherie! We'll definitely be back for more!More infoLa Grande BoucheriePrice: Very Expensive• French• Midtown West•4.5

- AArthurPhiladelphia County •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI just cannot tell you how nice the front desk check-in employees were. Our reservation was honored exactly at the time requested (6pm) and they sat us right away. In addition,we had requested a round table because we were a party of 5 and they honored that request. The table they gave us was wonderful in that it was in a nice corner of the restaurant where there was not a lot of noise and our party could communicate. As always, the food was outstanding. From the shrimp scampi to the Caesar Salad to the penne pasta with the red meat sauce to the Veal Parmigiana. Everything was too good to just recommend one dish. We will definitely be back.More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.6
