The American steakhouse is an iconic restaurant institution. We’d wanted to tell that story for years, but waited until we had the skill, talent and ability to execute it properly, and the right space to be our canvas, an important corner in Little Italy, a neighborhood where we have deep roots. We brought an almost academic appreciation for steakhouse history and tradition to Born & Raised, while trying to stay relevant and authentic to ourselves and our city. Our dry-aged beef pays tribute to earlier, earthier, pre-government grading practices and is the centerpiece of a meal best savored at a slow pace. A timeless celebration of everything that makes restaurants so special. - Consortium Holdings. A 4% surcharge is added to all guest checks.

Little Italy was built by the fishing industry. Ironside attempts to continue that narrative. It's our contemporary interpretation of the classic fish house and oyster bar. Located in a historic auction house on India St we did a full comprehensive restoration of the building, with three open-air culinary hubs featuring an expansive raw bar, chefs table, and bakery. We tried to be mindful of the past while looking towards the future. A 4% surcharge will be added to all guest checks.Ironside is now taking reservations for patio and dining room seating. We are now offering Happy Hour MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 3:00PM - 5:00PM.

We came to celebrate our 10th anniversary. It was already noted in the reservation, but this information wasn’t passed to our server. We were hoping for view of the skyline, but the options were limited even though we saw other guests be seated in those spots after us. We briefly mentioned our anniversary at the end after we had paid, and the server told us he was unaware. He was kind and provided some champagne to celebrate.

Our waiter (Kerry sp?) The chef and staff were amazing at keeping track of my teen son’s food allergies- they are complicated- and were able to deliver him an exquisite, adventurous and safe meal. He got to try steak tartare for the first time and he loved it. I loved the stones throw cocktail that Kerry recommended and my husband and I heartily devoured the whole fried red snapper for two. Everything was delicious and we all enjoyed dining on the following: tuna hand roll, halibut tostada, doppio batello, carne cruda tarte, rigatoni al forno, flat iron steak, the whole fried fish (red snapper). The ambience was also super chill and the art was unique and eclectic!

The food was great -- oysters/bone marrow and baba ganoush appetizers were great. Our favorite was NY strip steak -- expensive, but worth it if you like a good steak, and everyone at the table could eat a little of it, because it was pretty big. Caulilini was probably our second favorite entree. And oxtail gnocchi and the chicken were also good. Liked all 6 foods we tasted. It's really loud and lively, so if you want something more tranquil, it's probably not the right place for you. But if you want something trendy, lively, airy (a portion of the seating is in a semi-covered outside area) environment, it's great. It gives you some energy.
