Perfect party! Excellence food! The best people in the world!

After dining here twice, once on a date night with my partner and once with a group of friends, I can confidently say that this is in my top 3 restaurants in the world — and I’ve visited 48 countries and eaten my way through most of the worlds 50 best. No meal is complete without the bone marrow or soft shell crab tacos. Our server Mario was beyond accommodating and even brought out a copal smoke ceremony just for us since we remembered loving it our previous visit and wanted our friends to experience. Is this a “value meal?” Absolutely not. But you are paying for some of the best food, wine, cocktails, and service in Mexico if not in the world. 11/10, can’t wait to come back

The service was excellent and attentive from start to finish. The Greek salad was fresh and absolutely delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors. However, the spanakopita was a disappointment—it arrived cold, overly salty, and soggy. The steak, on the other hand, was beautifully seasoned and cooked just right, and the drinks were well-balanced and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the potatoes were far too salty and not edible. Despite these hiccups, the manager was very attentive, addressed our concerns, and made sure we were taken care of, which really elevated the experience. Overall, I’d definitely return to give it another try!

The service was cruise ship level. The food was very good with lots of depth of flavours. Only negative comment would be the selection of music. Dubstep music in a class restaurant didn’t work for me and distracted from the conversation.

The price is elevated, but you are also paying the entrance to see the amazing extensive cave as well. Our food was wonderful, my filet mignon was fabulous. The mango ceviche was very good. The bone marrow veggie sauce was very good ,but there was very little bone marrow to accompany the sauce. For dessert we ordered the Banana flambee and the show prep was fun and we had the chocolate volcano with vanilla Ice cream - very good. The wine is extremely pricey and there is no byo/cork fee allowed, so no bottles from outside. If they lowered the wine price to normal restaurant prices, many more bottles would be consumed and guests wouldn't feel so overcharged. So in all, always a 'must' unique experience and great for first timers to Playa and for special occasions. And lastly, our waiter, Carlos, was top-notch.
