Good food with good service, best choice when you want steak

This was the best meal at a restaurant I’ve ever had. The steak was so tender I could have cut it with a spoon. The Lobster Mac and cheese was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone who want to have professionalism in a meal and not worry about price because it is worth every penny plus more.

I would highly recommend sitting in Yun's section as she gives the BEST possible service ever and she truly cares about all her customers. Yun has worked at Mariposa for a very long time and knows what her customers like to eat and drink. What a EXCELLENT memory she has!!!

Service was attentive and efficient. We had a very nice table by the window. King salmon was very moist and the charred flavor was perfectly tasty. I like the rice and the ponzu sauce which came with it. I think it would be much better to have a simple greens like a steamed bokchoy instead of the picked vegetables. Picked vegetables and the Ponze sauce are too much of the same flavor. Pickled vegetables should just be a garnish, so that you can enjoy the ponzu sauce. Deep fried whole snapper was good. The somen was soaked in the sauce, so it was very salty. The fish and the somen can be plated together, with the sauce served in a small jug so that you can pour over the fish and/or the somen as desired. Not everyone likes the same saltiness taste in their food.

You would not expect it from the way the restaurant looks from the street, but the food is excellent quality, quantity, and taste! We had the same waiter a few times and he is also excellent! The ambiance is good too, as long as you're not facing the street.
