⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/5 — The ribs alone are worth the trip We grabbed the platter for two at Thirdwave BBQ and it ended up feeding five of us, so the value is unreal. And the ribs were heavenly. Tender, smoky, and gone way too fast. Easily the highlight of the meal. The brisket was good, the sauce was yum, and the pickles were a perfect cut through all that rich meat. The bacon had a nice spicy kick with a chewy, almost jerky-like texture, which made it a fun one to try. The sausage was okay, and the chicken was okay too, which is high praise coming from someone who doesn't even like chicken. The birria was a little on the tough side, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. Overall the food was fantastic and we all left full and happy. Come for the ribs, stay for the sauce and pickles. We'll definitely be back!

Our night at Casa Fuego was AMAZING this is some of the most authentic Mexican food in Perth. The cocktails are also outstanding. Thank you so much!

For a small restaurant specializing in aged sashimi it delivers a lot! We ordered the chefs set menu that gave us a good feel of what Nico offers. The freshness of the food blew me away. Down to the last detail like the humble bowl of greens. It was fresh full of color and flavor. Not over seasoned. The aged shashimi was awesome and so was the tuna tataki sushi. (Be warned their wasabi is top shelf and will definitely clear your sinuses.) The scallops was delicate and had a lovely creamy flavor. The grilled waygu was served with miso, rice and that bowl of greens. Again the dish was very flavorful. My only comment is my preference is for beef to be cooked medium rare theirs was served well-done. The experience was concluded with 2 types of tiramisu. Tasty but not overly sweet. I’ll definitely go back again and bring my friends along!! P.S. the staff were all amazing and friendly especially (I presume either the manager or owner) that I met when paying. There’s so much heart in this place.
