Restaurants near University of Manitoba

I tried something new and enjoyed it. I tried the Cajun chicken and jam sandwich, which was very tasty !!  the jam offset the Cajun spice very well I would order it again!!

Sitting at the bartop last night and dining with friends on New Year’s Eve in the dining room, I would like to convey my appreciation to the entire staff for both. We reserved in advance of course for New years, it was of course super busy.. but there was a lot of staff on to make things run smoothly as always.We were told about the 90 min dining time by Chloe but were never rushed, and the food and service were stellar. Last nite , the blackened chicken with miso mushrooms were scrumptious. Jasmine , Ryan and Chloe were managing at the time,, and I could especially see how engaged and energetic the staff were. It was a quiet night granted but you can definitely see the staff works as a team and genuinely enjoys working at the restaurant. I am slightly bias being a ‘regular’ but the consistency of the food the genuine nature of the staff is what makes me come back, and recommend the restaurant to others .Well done Joey Kenaston, especially in a brutally cold time of year, that presents it’s challenges. I am also in the hospitality, customer service industry and can relate.

The Keg South Side is always great. Service was great, easy parking, food was great.

We were thrilled with our experience. Andre was amazing being so friendly, attentive and patient. The food was such a better value than other breakfast spots while being way more delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back!
