To me, Aba never disappoints. I have a serious food allergy and they are so on top of making sure I’m not exposed to anything that would cause me problems. This cheer me to delicious choices every single time that are within my profile. This particular night the restaurant was gorgeous, glowing in the ambient light of lanterns and string lights, with a very significant but chill crowd and a lot of energy. The food was fantastic and I will mention that they whipped feta dip and the chocolate cake were special standouts this evening.

We were seated promptly, and our waiter was very nice and helpful. I had the turtle "gumbo" which was really soup, not gumbo, but excellent nonetheless. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the truffle demiglace was amazing. We also loved the corn brulee. That was a great surprise. The one thing that was a little faulty was the dessert. We had a flambe of ice cream covered by white chocolate, with a sauce. The waiter appeared to be a little inexperienced in the flambe technique, but this was really no problem. The problem was that the chocolate covering over the ice cream was impenetrable. We hacked and stabbed it several times until it finally cracked. Probably comes from keeping the whole thing in the freezer at too cold a temp. But once cracked, it was very good. Overall, an excellent experience, and we will definitely come back again.

We initially had a reservation outside, but the weather wasn’t great this day. The staff was very accommodating and let us sit at the bar instead. The bartender, Miguel, was WONDERFUL. He was engaging, kind, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The food was good, as always, but the experience itself was 15/10.

Food is so good. We sat at a four top in the bar area? Which was a little strange since I made reservations over two months ago. Whatever- food and service were top notch. I had the 30 day aged filet and gnocchi. Best steak in the city. Meatballs were just ok - bread was amazing and the table lived the bone marrow.
