    It was a wonderful experience. The service was elite. The food was extremely delightful. We had the waygu tacos and beacon and shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. For the main course, we had filet mignon and the ribeye with cream corn and truffle mac n cheese. And 4 desserts . All the desserts were delicious and amazing. We can’t wait to revisit.

    Another outstanding, tasty, delicious, filling dinner at a moderate price, as always. Everyone in our party loved the food and the service, and it was a FULL house this Friday evening! Whether you order a la carte from the regular menu or daily specials, or from the prix fixe menu (Tues-Fri until 6 PM), dinner will be excellent. We always appreciate that the chef can readily adapt preparations to meet dietary needs, since everything is made to order with minimal advance preparation.

    An excellent dining experience. The meal and service was excellent. There is a real chef and expert staff in this kitchen. As a native resident of Essex, Weat Essex and Morris area, Calandra's Mediterranean Grill is among the best. There are many choices in this area and not many can come close to this restaurant. The Calandra family runs excellent bakeries, restaurants and the Mediterranean Grill is in the Hampton Inn in Fairfield, NJ. This Hampton Inn rates among the very best Hampton Inns in the US, it's more like a 4 star Hotel than a Hampton.
