Restaurants near WWT Washington Wetland Centre

Exceptional food and excellent service, will certainly come back here. Only slight downside was that we were seated in the conservatory area (our choice, in fairness to them, we didn’t realise what the temperature would be like in there) which was boiling hot even in January. Maybe a canopy outside needed to keep the direct sun off the windows or some way to increase ventilation? But otherwise cannot fault it, this restaurant is an absolute gem

This was our first visit after only discovering Sheepfold Sables a few weeks ago. We were truly amazed after locating Vito’s tucked away in corner. Whilst from the outside it’s understated, with just a small sign and a door, what greats you on the inside is a nothing but incredible. Set in its rustic walls in a stunning and modern dinning experience. The staff are welcoming, helpful and went the extra mile. From incredible service to idle banter they only added to a wonderful experience. The food incredible, every mouthful was a taste explosion, perfectly seasoned and outstanding ingredients. Using authentic ingredients in a traditional prepared Italian cuisine. You’ve e never had a true Italian outside Italy until you try Vito’s. Safe to say we will be travelling from Leeds regularly and look forward to our next visit

Nice food, pleasant service warm and friendly place would definitely recommend it for a visit, we have been before but took friends who hadn’t they would certainly go back
