The fodd is delish.i have been going there for many years and never disappointed. I recommend this highly.
Perfect night out with friends, great food, and service
Eggplant and calamari app were good, watermelon cosmos were really good. Meatball & sausage lasagna was really good & tasty. Our sever Paula was great.
Always great food and fantastic service by the staff. I love this place and it's always a treat to bring new people and see their satisfied faces at the end of a meal.
The fish was fresh and perfectly prepared.
This place always has good food and service. I recommend it highly.
Loooved the food, ambiance and music. It was such a great experience for a larger group. They were ready for us when we checked in. The food was so good and the music was even better. Great first experience!
We enjoyed our entrees and the bread, great happy hour beer $5.00;draft pints.
Everything at Lasagna is fabulous! I don't like going to other restaurants because I'm spoiled.
My experience was amazing at Lasagna Restaurant. I went for my birthday with a group of ten people and they were very accommodating with amazing service and the food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their happy specials (until 8!) and main coursed. The lasagna was fabulous- I had the short rib and could not have made a better decision) while others enjoyed the alla vodka, shrimp alfredo and salads. We were able to bring our own cake, for a small serving fee, which they prepared and made very special. I would highly recommend!
The vibes, service, and quality were spot on!
Came for my birthday with 14 guests and had a great time. Service was amazing and so was the food. Can be a little tricky with so many people but they did a great job.
This used to be among our favorite spots, and we were SO looking forward to paying a visit for the 1st time after the Pandemic started. Long story short—I wonder if there has been changes in management... The menu, the quality of the food, the service, the pricing, etc. have all changed. Frankly, this place isn’t “all that,” and I don’t think it would be competitive to be charging upwards of $25 to $30 per mediocre pasta dish for lunch, even in NYC. It’s a casual dining spot in an old bldg. with average food, served by a very casual server wearing a shlompy pair of jeans... I am crossing this one off the list of my favorite places.
Bad drinks. Bad food.
We had a small social gathering here and it was wonderful! Everyone loved the food and the service was great. They sat all 16 of us outside, and it was nice and quiet. They gave us heaters since it was chilly. Plus, I love that they have gluten free options so everyone could enjoy! Definitely recommend for that perfect casual-but-nice outing with friends or family.
Great brunch for a great price. Service was awesome which made our group brunch more fun
Service was great. brunch menu very varied. Choices excellent for all . Lasagna potions a little small for teen ager boys/ We loved the bread. And the unlimited beverages are well worth the price
Been going here for years now(since my college years so back to 2006) and it’s always consistent and delicious.
The food and the service was exceptional! The Shrimp Scampi was delicious!
Their ‘free’ garlic bread is amazing and the food was great too. We ordered the Spinach and Roasted Garlic Lasagna and the Hot and Spice Penne Vodka. Both were well-made and had a great taste.
I would definitely want the restaurant to present the lasagne better, to justify the dish. Presentation is key!
The cocktails were very average and poorly made. So, that’s one thing I won’t recommend for this restaurant.
Very beautiful experience
Nice outdoor set up!
I will definitely be returning to Lasagna restaurant. With 13 different types of lasagna nightly, how can you go wrong? I had the short rib lasagna and it was absolutely delicious —a perfect ten. My son had the lamb lasagna and it was also delicious. Another member of our party had chicken oaillard which was enjoyed. The bread, bruschetta, squash ribbon salad were all great. Martinis and kids drinks perfect. Server pleasant, friendly and excellent. The outdoor seating may not be as finished and exciting as others on 8th Ave (One nearby restaurant had beautiful Ivy/flowers, more of a finished painted wood covering and more built in heaters and seating) but the food was definitely worth the visit and we will surely go back soon! Recommend trying the delicious restaurant and supporting this great neighborhood business.
Great lunch at Lasagna. Tables were nicely spread apart - so I it feels very safe. The seafood lasagna was just fantastic. Part of the lunch special which is a real deal. I added the chocolate mousse cake for dessert, and that was also delicious. My server Kristina was wonderful and made me feel right at home. Will be going back very soon.
Nice restaurant with great service. Level of service was just right for a night out, not bothersome but available when needed and did not feel rushed. Short rib lasagne was great as was the handmade parmesan gnocchi in pink sauce the wife enjoyed with their Brazilian Cosmo. Glad these businesses in NYC are finally opening back up for indoor dining!
The service was disappointing and I wouldn't recommend to anyone
Great food. Friendly staff.
I brought a great bottle of wine. The owner would not let me drink my own wine.
I love Lasagna. Been going for years and it's consistently top notch. Food, service, value is wonderful. I always leave happy and very full. Just 1 comment: the music is too loud. My party of 5 was seated a bit spread out and were constantly shouting to be heard. I found it very frustrating to have to repeat myself 3 times over and over. Might want to rethink the volume.
A neighborhood staple for simple, but good food
Absolutely excellent baked zita. Very accommodating staff. This place will become one of our regular haunts.
This place is perfect for a casual brunch, when having people visit in NYC or just everyday dining. It is the best value in the city for bottomless brunch and the food is incredibly good. Service is amazing and everybody is personable and kind. Would recommend to anybody for any occasion.
Great menu choices for food and beverages. Very helpful and accommodating wait staff. Adhered to all public health recommendations for a safe and comfortable dining experience.
To give an honest review, I will say that the service was average. It wasn’t friendly or welcoming like they didn’t care for a tip. It was ridiculous that a vegetarian dish (tagine ) was $28! Same as the lamb. I wouldn’t go back, though it didn’t taste terrible.
Overpriced for the quality and portions. Lasagna is not high enough quality to justify prices of 28-39 dollars. Ordered the “lobster” lasagna for $39: very little lobster
Went for dinner Friday 9/25/20 with 2 friends and all of us loved it! The service was solid even though they were busy. Ordered 2 bottles of Finca Rioja @$46ea, 1 cheese ravioli lamb bolognese @$25, 1 Chicken Paillard @21.00 and Grilled Eggplant Lasagna @$24. All 3 of our meals were very good! Wine list is a bit expensive and the 3 cheapest wines on the wine list they claimed to be out of them.
Very accommodating wait staff and excellent food!!
I’ve been dining at lasagna for years it is right on my block. Certainly has had its ups and downs. This is one of their worst down moments. They lost their liquor license but it seems like they also lost the chef. The food is worse than I ever remember. It’s too bad because I really want them to continue serving the community. It’s bad enough that COVID-19 is still around but these are added dings.
The seafood tasted unseasoned. Did not enjoy especially for the price.
