Birthday dinner for a friend with 5 of us attending. They are doing an excellent job with COVID-19 compliance and the service was outstanding as always. Was only slightly disappointed with the quality of the food we ordered. Overall, we love going there and look forward to going again!
Great meal for Father’s Day
It was quiet, as there were not many people there due to 50% capacity guidelines. Food was great, as always. Was just disappointed there was no dipping sauce (olive oil) for the bread, but that's probably a COVID consequence.

Liboratore's is our favorite Italian restaurant. Love the food, love the staff....EXCELLENT. They always make us feel so welcomed.

Disappointing service - was better when I decided to make it self service and get whatever I needed myself. The food wasn’t great either. So disappointed as I’ve been going to Liberatores for over 2 decades.
Very disappointed. Food had no flavor, my veal was like shoe leather and was served with penne' paste. Absolutely one of the worse meals I ever had. An outrage at $110 for two people. I can get better food for two at Cracker Barrel for $25.

Reasonable value but unfortunately gluten free grilled chicken was tough, gluten free pasta was over cooked and dissolving but sauce was tasty

My husband and I planned a celebration dinner at Liberatore's and made a reservation for 7 PM on a Saturday. The place was mobbed, and we were told there was at least a 30 minute wait, even though we had a reservation. I saw them take 2 different couples ahead of us who did not have reservations. We couldn't even get a seat at the bar to wait, it was so crowded. Finally, we were seated, but our waiter was completely overwhelmed, and we had to wait quite a while for everything. I'm sure he did the best he could, but they were definitely understaffed. The food was delicious, so that made up for a lot. We would go back again, but maybe pick a different day and time. I just don't understand why Liberatore's confirmed our reservation; they could have offered a later time if they were overbooked.
Food was excellent. Server was very attentive and accommodating. Parking was horrendous. My husband dropped me off at the door and could not find a open parking space. He ended up parking behind the building. The line to be seated was just about out the door. I had a reservation and still had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. It seemed there were about 4 very large parties going on at the same time. They each were 8-12 per party. So parties that were 4 or less were waiting longer to be seated. I don’t know if it had to do with it being restaurant week? Or if that is the norm on a Saturday night at 6:30? If that is the norm then I would recommend having an earlier dinner reservation (5:00)? Or a late dinner (9:00)? You might have a better chance to get a parking spot without having to walk from behind the building.
It was restaurant week and had a reservation at 6:30pm: didn’t get seated until 30-40 minutes later ordered the restaurant week offerings received the salad and waited over an hour for the rest of the food which never came. We were not the only group that were waiting for our meals it was as if the cooks were MIA. Our friends and I continued to wait and spoke to the manager which said gives us another 15 minutes the kitchen is backed up and we waited but at this point we were all frustrated and starving. Asked for the check and left while seeing other tables that were seated before us still waiting on food as well. Very poor planning on the restaurant and did not leave a good impression for us to come back.
Liberatore's should work to enhance its stature as a place to dine rather than eat. I always say if you want to eat, go to McDonald's. When you're first met by the young lady at the desk, it should be "Good evening, welcome to Liberatore's" instead of "Hi guys. Got a reservation?" The food is good. They still struggle a little with the risotto that is more dry and mealy than creamy. Overall, though, not bad.

I have never ever been disappointed with the food at Liberatore's, the chicken marsala was fantastic, and my seafood dish with red sauce was also fantastic!! The service was impeccable, and last but not least my chocolate martini was out of this world
My family took my wife there for her birthday. The service was great and the food was good.

Pasta needed to be cooked a little longer just for it to have been al dente. Took too long just to get drinks ordered so when waitress finally came we ordered all at once (drinks, appetizers and dinner). Otherwise, it was a nice dinner.
The server was great. The reason for the service rating is because we had a 6pm reservation. We completely understand some wait, however, we were told our table was a “staging table” for a surprise party and we could not be seated until they arrived. 1) that was silly as they never made it to the table so not needed given the layout 2) unacceptable, given the restaurant was still taking reservations on Open Table as we sat 3) I had to speak with a manager to get seated at 6:35pm. Note: the “surprise guests” finally arrived at 7pm at which time the table was released. Were we seriously supposed to be expected to wait an hour with a reservation? Note: walk-ins were being quoted a 25 minute wait time. Nothing a bit of management cannot correct.

While we do try to reserve a specific table for our 'surprise' guests attending a gathering, this should have had absolutely zero effect on you and your guests being sat in a timely manner. We have addressed this with management and truly apologize for this miscommunication that led to this delay. 2 1/2 hours we never got our food. Server was awful; he was overwhelmed (working upstairs.) It was New Years Eve, we had reservations, but we only got a basket of bread. It was like the last supper; well it was ours for 2019 and at LIBERATORE’S.
As you can see from our NYE guests, unfortunately, many others faced the same issues that you did on this evening and we cannot begin to apologize enough for the lack of service that you received during this experience. At Liberatore’s, we are known for friendly, attentive service and delicious food and we failed to deliver either of these to our guests on this night specifically due to significant unexpected challenges we faced. Reservations were at 7:30 at 8:15pm we were taken to a table. Server did not get to our table for 20 minutes. At that time we ordered drinks, appetizers, and meals as we had tables around us telling us they had been there since 6pm. Drinks were brought and appetizer . We ordered blackened scallops felt scallops were very small and only 3 on plate taste was good just expensive for the amount. Around 9:30 I asked if our entree were coming. Server states I will check you have been waiting a long time. Finally dinner came and mine was ice cold my husband was fine. I got servers attention and sent mine back. She did offer to heat it up or get me something else in which I declined as I did not want to wait another 45 minutes or longer. Never did a manager or owner ever visit our table. Left at 10:15 hungry.

Over booked, had a 7p reservation, seated after 8. Had to ask for someone to wait on us. Poor service, everyone seemed overwhelmed. Took forever to get food. Asked if there was a manager and was told several, but no one apologized, spoke to us or offered anything to compensate. Others walked out due to lack of service. Not a new restaurant, so we were surprised. Won't be going back any time soon.

Restaurant was very crowded and understaffed, overheard a waitress say they overbooked. Service was slow, one salad was completely forgotten and one person in our party was served the completely wrong dish. Took us 10 minutes to get the servers attention to try to get it replaced at which time was ridiculous other meals would have been cold.

Had dinner there on New Year’s Eve. It was understandably busy but the food arrived nearly cold. The risotto was mealy and cool, not what you would expect from a restaurant that specializes in Italian cuisine. We’ve been there a number of times with a mix of good to not so good experiences but will probably go back, not soon though.

Enjoyed a family dinner out just before the holidays. I had made a reservation for 6:30 and the greet staff was pleasant and sat us right away. Our server was bubbly and attentive and the food was delicious. Only the 2nd time we have been there in 5 years. We need to start making it a regular place to dine.

-Libs is always good; consistency is one of their strengths. -It seems portions have shrank over the last few months, particularly in the cuts of meat, both size and quality of the cut seem to be on the decline over the last few months.
-The bartenders are exceptional and they make the best drinks in Harford County.
-Service is professional and timely

Food was cold took over 30min to get appetizers they were cold told waiter he shrugged food was cold and mushy not a good experience would not recommend. Every server was in such a rush that they spilled food and ran off.
