We love The Hoxton and really enjoy the different vibes between the restaurants and bars. Last night we went to Cira because we wanted a chill (but beautiful) dinner and we had the best time. The highlight was our server Christina who had such incredible energy the entire night and gave us great food/drink recommendations but also went above and beyond in so many ways. Because of this we are changing a reservation we have elsewhere this week to just come back here a second time lol. 10/10! I've lived in Chicago for 32 years and never made it here but was enticed by their happy hour. Who can beat $1 oysters and half off bottles of wine these days? No one. Highly recommended. Definitely get the Haemul Pajeon (Korean savory pancake) and, if you can splurge, the Hwe—sashimi from fish sourced from Japan which made it a "must-have" for me. The mackerel was also excellent, but they serve the whole fish including the head and tail which some say are the best parts. But it's not for everyone. It is also bony. Bulgogi was just okay. A very nice restaurant to try out some famous desi dishes with a twist. However, there are not many vegetarian options. As a vegetarian I recommend Paneer Tikka, Paneer Kadhai (upon request, in the menu as Chicken Kadhai) and Dal Bukhara. The Dal Bukhara was very authentic and the Paneer Kadhai was just different and lovely. The service at the restaurant is amazing (kudos to Hadi), very polite, sweet, accommodating and quick. We had a great meal at Pasta Moon for my husband's birthday, after many years of previous visits. There's an ebb and flow in any workplace. I felt the energy was a little low last night during our visit at The Matheson. Perhaps it's indicative of the season. Fall is here. It's harvest time. The weight of the work, the direction of the economy, the challenge of being always better may be a factor in my feeling that last night was a 4 and not a 5. Still, a wonderful experience, at a wonderful restaurant, in a wonderful town. My suggestion to the kitchen is to look at what has always been done, the way it is supposed to be, and challenge yourselves on what provides The Matheson X factor. Sometimes too much is too much. Simple is often sweet. Spices and sauces should be comforting with southern cooking, not rich and troubling on the tummy. My 2 cents.

The food here is consistently good. My friend had the French toast and thought it was the best French toast she had ever eaten. I had the farmer's plate and that consisted of two pates, one of chickpeas and the other of chumurra, both delicious. I have been to Carlitos Gardel four times now, and have yet to be disappointed by their entrees, which are absolutely delicious and top-notch. The service is also outstanding, and on par with what you would expect from a high-end restaurant. On my most recent visit last night, my dear friend and I decided to order the Ojo de Bife con Hueso, which was honestly one of the most delectable steaks I have ever had in my entire life. The only thing I was not thrilled with was the $380 bill. Although I am always prepared for sticker shock with this restaurant, since the Ojo de Bife con Hueso was listed at "M.P.", I have no idea what I was charged for it. Evidently, it was a lot, since we split a salad, split a side, and split a dessert.

Red Rooster never disappoints - I love that they keep the menu fresh with new dishes. Brunch was lovely as there was live music with a singer walking around and saxophonist. It was very interactive and we loved every second. We opted to share a bottle of Prosecco for mimosas which was cost efficient since they do not have bottomless. I had the lamb as my meal which was seasoned to perfection with the Berbere african seasoning and pickled onions on top made it such a dimensional dish. The jerk sweet potato I didn't taste any jerk and had much more potential. The collard greens with pot liquor was amazing. The decor inside is so eclectic every time I go I marvel at how genius the interior decorator was. This is one of my favorite places to dine in Miami.

Amazing experience for our 4 year anniversary. Food was the best I’ve had in Monterey and will now be a go to dinner stop anytime we come to Monterey. Had the filet mignon and added a lobster tail, it was the best surf and turf I’ve ever had. The steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful and charred, while the lobster was succulent, soft, and had so much meat in the tail. Ambiance was unlike any other- beautiful, scenic, inviting, and straight out of a romance movie. A dreamy spot that would be great for a special occasion. Would definitely recommend trying this place out. Sadly they were out of sticky toffee pudding, which is my favorite dessert, but that just means we need to come back here again for sure!

The only negative I would provide is the cost. My wife and myself had 2 drinks that were $16 dollars a pop. The bill was over $400 not including tip.
