Mama's was recommended to us by several coworkers and my goodness they did not disappoint!! First off the restaurant is located next to this incredible beach with turquoise blue waters and dramatic seafoam capped waves. The grounds are covered with lush tropical greenery and plants. We attended the restaurant on one of our last days as it was close to the airport. We were celebrating our honeymoon and they sat us where we had exceptional views of the ocean. We ordered a Pink Hibiscus drink and a Bourbon Sour, which were both strong and delicious. While waiting for our appetizers, the waitress provided us with fresh warm, soft bread served with butter and a delicious small serving of bisque. For appetizers we had the crab cakes and they were so delicious and flaky golden. For the entree we both ordered the stuffed mama's Fish, and my goodness it was the best fish I have ever had. Its the fish of the day stuffed with crab and seerved with a lobster tail and the lobster was cooked perfect. The fish is covered in a pineapple sauce but doesnt taste like pineapple at all. For dessert, we had a banana crumble served warm with ice cream and a chocolate pie with a caramel crust, super rich but so delectable for chocolate lovers. This was the priciest restaurant that we have ever eaten at, spending around $200 for the 2 drinks, appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. Maybe slightly overpriced, but I'm telling you it is the best on the island!!!! Definitely a must. 10/10 recommend. Service was excellent.
