The service was outstanding and we really enjoyed our server and the bar drinks more than anything. The Mahi Mahi didn’t have much flavor even with the crab bruschetta on top but it was not bad. That alone just needs some more flavor but will definitely return when in Orlando!

My first visit to this excellent neighbourhood restaurant will not be my last. As a solo diner I was shown to a table that afforded a good view of goings on. Started with a cocktail (French75) refreshing with the kick it’s supposed to give. Ate Lobster Tagliatelle very good and packed with chunks of lobster; drank a glass of chilled Spanish white wine. Just had a double espresso to finish. Very friendly people, professional attentive service too. Quite perfect.

Whenever I visit NYC, I usually go Benjamin. Yesterday, it was heavy raining as you know. I went to Banjamin as usual for my last day of NY staying. I met a couple, who are living in LA. They are visiting NY to eat cheese cake for their desert. Foods are delicious and good atmosphere. I hope to eating again, as usual.

Awesome Experience. First time dining at Essex on a Saturday night and the place was booming. Partner and I shared the steak for 2 and it was fabulous. Great time! From the bartender ( Can't remember his name but he was Tall guy with salt and Pepper hair and made me the best espressos martini I had in Vegas), Fred our waiter and Jr. Were GREAT! Parking can be a slight issue on weekends, it’s super busy. There’s a parking garage next to the restaurant that was about $14 for the time we spent eating. Walking in you’re greeted by the hostess and then walk through to the main sitting area. They have a nice bar if you want to enjoy a few drinks before sitting down. Servers were great. They explained the menu and answered all questions. Drinks come out fast. They have some bread pieces you get before the appetizers come. We ended up getting salads. Those were good. Ordered the NY steaks and probably one of the best steaks we’ve had in a while. Sides are large enough to share between 2. Dessert options were great as well. We had a great dinner date and will def come back.

We went to the Tavern Allston on a Sunday evening during the first week of the NFL season. Great place to see a variety of games on many televisions. The food was very good with a great selection of pub/tavern food. The service was good despite the larger crowd. My only complaint was the volume of the speakers which were deafening. You had to yell to speak to the person sitting across from you in the same booth! I gently complained to no avail. I would definitely go back as the overall experience was very good.

This restaurant is definitely a place I would come for a special occasion due to the price of the plates but luckily they were part of dinela and me and my friends were able to experience dishes we enjoyed. The salmon lettuce wraps were good but I wished there was 3 wraps instead of 2, the skirt steak was very flavorable due to the sauce they drizzle over and the brussel sprouts hit the spot with the chili mayo. The cookie skillet was small but still very enjoyable. I am interested in coming back due to the private karaoke rooms they have, it looks very fun.
