Awesome. The staff helped deal with my 2 y.o. niece, who likes to twirl in the middle of the dining room. All of the room was awesome, the room with the roast beef/bacon/eggs Benedict was regularly re-stocked, and help was available. The Oyster bar was slightly slow, but did not really attract from the experience, since it was delicious. A++++

We had a group of six and needed to accommodate three types of diets! Regular, gluten-free and vegan. Beertown fit the bill with lots of selection for all three. The meals were delicious and our server, Neville, was great! Efficient and courteous. Highly recommend, especially if different diets are required. Quite loud, unfortunately as we were trying to catch up with family. But the food and service was excellent. A bit pricey ( sure has gone up, especially wine) but again, everything tasted good and was well served. I think we’ll keep it for special occasions only; we used to come often just for a nice dinner, but it’s a bit too expensive now.

Our server Stephanie was excellent and deserved more stars if they were available. We started with 2 cocktails which were made to perfection and then voila our tuna tartare showed up and with the coolest wafers which we slowly enjoyed bite for bite. We ordered a lobster pasta and a black cod, though the portions are on the small size the taste was large. To make up for the size we ordered a side of there cooked to perfection truffle fries which took care of our bellies. Stephanie then she wanted to give us a complimentary aperitif drink for our 1st anniversary celebration which was so very nice and tasted great with little colourful flowers floating on top. For desert which there were some beautiful choice we shared a fantastic chocolate cake which arrived with a sparkle. Thou we both dressed up for the occasion the majority of the clientele were casual, so it’s up to you on what you want to wear. I was in the restaurant business for a few years and it was nice to see a well oiled machine of a well trained staff especially with an open kitchen. All in all it was a great experience and the bill with tax was $250 and a well deserved $50 tip on top, so it’s not for every day but if you have a special occasion I highly recommend Marcus and don’t forget to ask for Stephanie.

Neverland Tea Salon exceeded my expectations! Not only are the food and tea offerings suuuuuuuper tasty, they also include a Gluten-free & Dairy-free option, a Vegetarian option, and a Gluten-free & Vegan option. One of my guests is Celiac and the Salon manager came to our table to ease our concern over cross-contamination, etc. It was such a validating experience! One of my guests uses a walker and requires assistance...the bathroom was large enough to accommodate us both with her walker and was very clean. The servers were all exceptional - they were very polite, knowledgeable, and charismatic. None of us could finish our food so we were given lovely little take-home boxes for our leftovers. I loved the experience from start to finish and will definitely go again!

The service was top notch. Very friendly and helpful staff, making suggestions and recos on food and wine. We came Monday night and to our pleasant surprise was 1/2 price wine bottles. We had the parallel salad, & falafel- both delicious. My very favourite falafel . We also shared the chicken schnitzel and a mushroom/ arugula dish. My only complaint is the menu is too limited. All the starters are dips, and if u don’t feel like that, there is little else. I remember pre-Covid a much larger selection of options. I just hope this returns.

This has been & is one of my favourite restaurants for the past 15 yrs. I went with my family on New Year’s after almost a year later…blame it on the pandemic😊We ordered the house specials…scallops, pate & the soup, as share plates between three of us. The first two were disappointing but the soup was pretty good. We ordered three main courses…my daughter & I shared two of the main courses, which were, lentil based lingcod & crab/lobster bamboo rice dishes. They were ok & felt, it was not to the high standard of this establishment. However, the third main, beef tenderloin was v good. All said & done, this restaurant will remain as one of our favourites & we live in the area.

We came here on sept 18th for my step daughters 13th birthday. The view was beautiful, even though we weren’t seated right beside the water. The food was delicious! We also made a ridiculous request if any of the servers could do origami for her birthday, as she’s very artistic and would love it. We knew it was a very out there request, but they actually pulled through! They made her a beautiful napkin butterfly with “happy birthday” written on it. It’s was amazing to see the servers go above and beyond like that. Thank you so much to the staff for making our experience so great.

We 3 shared the gigli pasta dish the asparagus with orange, and the crispy potatoes with jalapeño. Every dish was absolutely delicious and together were substantial for a lunch meal. We had an absolute amazing experience at the Bauer kitchen. It was both my husbands and I’s first time here and with both of us being celiac , it adds a bit of fear when we try new places. We loved the separate gluten free menu and the attention that we received with that. We appreciate everything they did to keep us safe. We’ll definitely be back

The food was exquisite. The burgers, in particular, were in a league of their own with layers of masterfully selected flavors. The calamari was an absolute delight—nothing like anything I’ve ever had, and you definitely want to try it! The staff was very professional and friendly. In fact, they made us feel like we were having a meal at home amongst family and friends with their cheerful smiles and delightful repartee. It was my first time at Uli’s, and it was for my birthday.
